I think The Matrix Reloaded's car chase was better, but other then that I might have to agree, I can't really think of any superhero film that had better action than TWS, it had a little of everything. Spiderman 2 still have the best action sequence in a superhero film though, but the action overall, Cap wins easy.

I'm just going to come out and say it.
No cbm from the 70/80/90/2000/2010 can match the level of action from this movie.
The car chase alone is better than most movies known for their car chases (insert your favorite car chase here).
The gun battles alone are better than most movies known for their gun battles, i'm talking about Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down and Heat quality on display here.
Expendables has nothing on this movie.
The superhero action on display was better than any other cbm, period.
Also the political darkness vibe from this movie was creepy at certain points, well done.
I still love Avengers, but this movie is easily tied with that one. Avengers was still the best midnight show I have ever experienced, and its still a great movie, but the pure action from Cap 2 easily overtakes Avengers.
MOS action is down right boring when compared to Cap 2.
From the ****ing Russo brothers no less, really, how is this even possible!
Avengers 2 will certainly need to step it up a few notches now.
