This can only mean Hot Toys will get more of my money.

I hope they make more than Cap for this film. Hopefully we will get Winter Soldier, Falcon and Sharon Carter.

Not saying they should have him wear red spandex but, man, that is such a boring costume. All black and grey and dull. At least have a nod to the original design with some red on it. It's not like they couldn't fit it on the chest armour.

By that synopsis it looks like there will be way too many characters in this. I hope Sharon Carter is actually the lead female in this, and not Black Widow.

I think Chris Evans would look great in this suit too..

I'm ready for the next round of Marvel movies. I got a chance to watch The Avengers in 3D on my new TV this weekend, so I can't wait until the onslaught begins in May.

To be fair, they both look pretty ****ing ridiculous.

Yeah, that's usually my take on all these more "realistic" designs they give comic characters in the movies. For instance, the comic X-Men would look so silly and stupid in real life, so let's give them all black leather outfits--some with capes, some with giant X's on them, all skin-tight and sexy. . .it is what it is, and I've accepted it at this point, but I would rather they just go ***** out and do the comic styled costumes. Just like Spider-Man and Batman, people would get over it and accept it if the films took them seriously.

That's obviously Chris Evans stunt double. The new suit is growing on me but I think the wings on the helmet are a bit too pronounced?? I'll still get the Hot Toys figure though! Awesome!

Like I said, it's totally about the approach. There is nothing intrinsically less silly about these costumes than those others. It's all about how it is handled:

Not only does it retain the classic colours for the 'costume accuracy is all that matters' crowd, but it serves a function in the plot

Just a reminder of how far the long underwear crowd has traversed.
