Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Isn't he supposed to break into the Smithsonian and steal back his old WWII outfit in Winter Soldier?
If the rumors are true, yes.

Looks like a big climactic battle is pictured on that concept art.

Robots?!? Really? Awful plot twist and totally ruined the movie for me. Thanks a lot, jerk

:lol

..yeah..there's this like big serious actor with a goatee and he only dresses in black (cause he bad) and he catches Captain and smashes him through 65 walls, then they bounce around for a bit and then they do an ultimate takedown move. The end. Then the robots come in and clean up the mess..

Yeah, it's nothing serious but an exciting detail.
They gave it away with that concept art :lol

You've already read about it a long time ago, why panic :monkey3
(Spoilers): Cool info on Cap's costume
I actually do think thats ****ing cool, detail or not. Hope it's true, judging by the concept art it seems to be.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

It's humorous that they say he steals it....he's more or less just reclaiming his property.

Smithsonian Exhibit apparently.

Considering he was defrosted in his costume they would've had to either start the exhibit after his time in Avengers or it's a replica.

Either way they didn't sell Cap as a living Legend in the movies imo, only person who seemed to recognise him was Colson.

I'm calling it now, this will be the 4th best CBM movie next year.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

That costume exhibit confirms that the costume is different to the original, although is meant to look similar

3 extra red strips (middle, plus 2 on the sides)
Shoulder pads are now stitched into the suit, not just strapped on
Knee area looks different also.
Neck area looks different also

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Looks even better with the changes.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Seeing them there makes me wish they had a second WW2 movie for Cap to really establish him as a leader and veteren before bringing him to the future.

Do love the TFA costume. Wonder how they'll explain it being different.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

devincf: MARVEL ONE SHOT: AGENT CARTER is really fun. They should have these in front of the Marvel movies.

colliderfrosty: Just watched the premiere of Marvel's short AGENT CARTER. Extremely well done. Much better than last year's.

devincf: Hayley Atwell is really wonderful in AGENT CARTER. Kicks *** in a big way. Story has a nice strong, competent woman thing going on.

devincf: AGENTS OF SHIELD should have flashbacks to Agent Carter. That needs to be a thing that happens all the time.

colliderfrosty: Hope everyone gets to see AGENT CARTER without reading spoilers as there are a few really great surprises. #sdcc #marvel

Man, that spoiler sounds great. I hope it's true, I love that idea. Great way to bring the best look back.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

That Agent Carter short definately won't be enough for me to buy IM3 on DVD.

:lol

The Mandarin/Trevor scenes and RDJ's performance as Tony Stark/Iron Man in III is enough to warrant a blu ray purchase from me.
