I'm freaking out over 12 heroes in this film. I don't know if I'll survive Infinity War. Imagine watching a single tracking shot of all the MCU characters fighting Thano's forces...

So far from the photos the Mk XLVI doesn't seem to have the articulation of the Mk XLIII in the waist/hip area. Seems they are covering for it by taking photos of it in weird angles. I have doubts that as it is right now, the prototype would be able to do the kneeling pose properly.

Huh? If the mk3 original and the mk4/6 can do it...there's zero reason the think the 46 can't. Besides, they showed in a photo it can do it.

Looks like it has the same articulation to me.

I'm basing it off from:

1. The fist can't touch the ground
2. The angle the photo was taken is similar to the photos of the old Mk.III and we all know that figure couldn't do the ground punch.

I'm not saying the final version can't do it, but the prototype doesn't seem like it can. On this photo I am thinking that part of the "panty" just before the flap would rub on the thigh:

The old mk3 could do the ground punch.

The fist isn't touch so the head looks up into the camera.

The mk3 promo photos...

And just in case you think it wasn't able to do it as a production figure...

All it would take to make the figure of the mk46 touch the ground is lean the upper torso forward. If it can get into that position it can do the ground punch. The prototype is based off the mk45 production figure (heavily modded to be the mk46 obviously) and the mk45 can do the ground punch.

The old MkIII can do the ground punch if you popped the thigh off its joint. That's how a lot of people did it before.

At its current state, it doesn't seem like this one can move its thigh forward enough to do it properly either. Even on the photo I linked above, it doesn't seem like it can move it far enough to do a proper kneeling pose. I'm thinking that the red point just before the flap on the "panty" in the photo I linked above might rub. The other newer figures have that area as a flap too so I'm guessing that might change on the prototype too.

It won't catch. The flap is articulated exactly the same way the mk43 and 45 are. It's in that pose already as far a the legs are concerned. To get from the photo to the fist touching doesn't require moving the section your worried about at all. Really, it can do it.

And I don't know what other people did..but I can get the original Mk3 I'm the pose without popping anything off.
In the photo I posted the leg is not popped off.

You may not have noticed but those hip flaps are not one piece and are double articulated. The front red part moves separate from the back red/gold part and can move over top of it.

There's more then enough articulation and it's probably better then the 43.

Ah yes you are right. I missed that flap. Thanks for clarifying. :)
