:lol

Dammit, I need to change my pants.

:lol

I bet Ant-Man just has a smallish role.

:lol

Yup, thats our Civil War right there

looks like they’re running away from the cops or something.

:lol

Yeah, "Captain America: The Pickup Basketball Game" would have been more appropriate.

:lol

Like an N.W.A. video...except they had more members

:lol

I don’t feel like we needed to see Civil War yet, if they would have waited a bit, and finished off the whole Thanos plot, then they could have done Civil War. They have a bunch of the Netflix characters that could have been in the film to, such as Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Hell Cat, Punisher etc…

Imagine a Daredevil vs Spidey battle on the big screen, or The Punisher letting Cap beat him up. Some really cool stuff could have made it in if they waited a bit.

Good point.

My last gripe with the trailer is I really feel like the rivalry with Tony and Steve should have been built up a bit more before this movie. The Avengers did a decent job setting their relationship up, but in Age of Ultron they barely spoke, and neither guy ever felt like they were leaders in either Avenger film so again, them going head to head just doesn’t feel as developed as it should based on that trailer.

Thats my last critique though, the movie will probably be epic as hell, and we haven’t even seen Spidey yet.

Good point.

CB story was freaking terrible. :lol
The basic plot was ok, but not writing.

This film will be better in every way possible.
I really don't care about the scale of events as long as the story itself is epicly written and directed.

Well said.

He could still be used to take out low level criminals like cat burglars and people who cut lines at concerts and such.

Nah, kill him, you're right.

Black panther's first MCU appearance. Have him running from the cops. lmao.

Yeah Civil War was not good.... at all. If anything, this movie might actually do justice to the concept or even exceed it. Seriously Civil War was such a mess of a story even if the concept was cool.

I don't need this to have an "epic" scale, heck I'm happy that it seems to be taking a more personal route in the writing. Also I can't be the only one who was (pleasantly) surprised to see how Tony is actually being depicted more sympathetically compared to how some people initially projected this. You'd think that the last scene in this trailer would be some awesome macho fight between Steve and Tony but no, instead you get Tony being brutally beaten down by Steve and Bucky.

Just saw the trailer...it's ok

Great looking trailer, IMO! :rock :rock :rock

The trailer is mere hours old, and out comes the regular motley crew of MCU haters and armchair directors. :) I'll make a bold opinion right now: Civil war will be better than SvB and X-men Apocalypse.

Fixed. :)

I think his costume translated very well to the big screen, especially under the harsh day lighting.

I think this looks great. Same tone and vibes as Winter Soldier, which I loved. Who doesn't like seeing Stark get wrecked by Cap and Bucky?

Suppose it could be bigger and "more epic", but the Avengers movies are those and well, Age of Ultron didn't do a whole lot for me. I'm excited for this one, especially if there aren't any alien invasions, nukes or apocalyptic meteorites.

An interesting take on the Civil War storyline.......it has WS feel which is a good thing IMO. I cannot wait for the Stark beat down...I felt sorry for him with the "so was I" comment but it quickly faded

Incredible trailer. I walked away thinking 3 things, first OMG it's Black Panther, second wtf happened to War Machine, and third that may not be Stark in his suit at the end.

Right? So underwhelming when you compare it to the comics but i guess they have to work with what they have.

What are they going to do? Include dozens of hero's that haven't appeared anywhere in the MCU fighting it out while half the audience is trying to figure out who they are and which side they're on? There is an established group of characters and that's who's going to be used. They're introducing Black Panther already. Trying to introduce too many new characters would just make a cluttered mess of the film.

Although I do agree with some that this doesn't feel epic enough, I also realize it couldn't possibly compare to both Avengers movies or Winter Soldier in overall scale. The stakes in those movies were much higher. Enslavement of mankind, the annihilation and extinction of mankind, and the rise of Hydra to power to oversee mankind. Those are big plots with serious consequences. This is our Government trying to control it's heroes. Pretty small in terms of outcome compared to the previous 3 stories. Now from a realistic perspective, it does make way more sense that the Government would step in now with only a few heroes/super beings, rather than wait till there are hundreds running around and it's out of control. The Russo's seem to be much more grounded in character development and realism than over the top and unbelievable. It'll be interesting to see how they go with Infinity War, which is exactly that, crazy jaw dropping OMG the universe is ending stuff!! I'm also curious to see how this effects future episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Netflix series' story lines. Fun stuff ahead!! :yess:

Well you can go watch Fan4Stick again then, can't you? :wave

Actually, I think that the movie could have a better story. A lot of the Civil War comics were a total mess. It will definitely be more concise.
:goodpost:

Trailer's looking great.
I haven't seen Shellhead's armor look this good on screen since his debut back in '08. :yess:
What a massive improvement over his CGI suit in Month of Ultron.

Looks like Falcon has new thrusters on his calves now.

And just a taste of the Panther . . . . :panic:
(Sixty percent of the time, he works every time . . .)

What an epic time to be an MCU fan! :clap

I've watched the trailer about 6 times already. It's GREAT! I loved seeing Avengers fight each other in the first Avengers movie and this is more of that goodness. Black Panther could look better. He looks true to the character but Marvel has translated other characters better from comic to movie-verse. I guess there is not really that much you can do with him though. He sure can run.. FAST! Last thoughts.. Wow, would Captain America really aid and abet a killer and fugitive even if it's his friend? Just doesn't seem like he would take this stance to protect Bucky who almost killed Fury and has killed countless other people.

Oh!.. And Winter Soldier is snatching arc reactors! Lol.. Wow
