I actually dig that they're showing restraint. It should make for a tighter story. You can't do a movie about too many characters without losing focus. They could have tossed in Thor and Hulk. And Nick Fury. Dare Devil. Introduced Wasp. Had Abomination back. Turned Ross into Red Hulk to help Tony. Resurrected Quicksilver. But that would be a cluster ****. That's why Infinity War will need to be two films.

I'm not much of a comic follower, but I've read that Black Panther has defeated Dr doom, mephisto, the whole roster of the fantastic four and the avengers in the comics despite being a street level/captain America base. In the Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon he was always bailing the Avengers out. He's like captain America and iron man combined.

I've seen plenty people who don't like the voice? Why? Seems rather Spiderman-y to me.

The classic "we must complain about somthing" trend. People wanted him to be a kid and now that he is...... **** it I've done to many spiderman arguments on this board lmao

Yeah, Black Panther is most definitely not street level. In classic stories he ate a herb that gave him enhanced senses, speed and the like, but after 2012 or so, he got a permanent upgrade. Bast, the deity which protects Wakanda, made him "King of the Dead", which means he now posesses the memories of all previous Panther and can talk to them in the astral plane. Plus, he got strentgh, speed, etc, etc upgrades. Besides, Wakanda is the most advanced nation on earth, so he's got some serious gear. Vibranium Microweave, Kimoyo, etc, etc. He's Batman + Iron Man + Captain America. Honestly, he's "street level" in the way Ghost Rider and Spider-Man are.

As for his feats, well, he's got tons and did beat up Tony during Civil War, but some are PIS. The Silver Surfer for one in that Fantastic Four arc was purely illogical and one of the most WTF scenes. Doom, he didn't really beat, as he had Storm with him, were in an enclosed space, and Doom just stopped the fight. Honestly, good as T'Challa is, and he's goood, Doom is on a whole other level. He's Batman + Iron Man + Doctor Strange. Doom could beat anyone with anything, he's just that good. As for Mephisto, T'Challa outsmarted him, which was damn bad-ass, back in the first issues of the Priest run.

Thank you for the clarity. Very interesting stuff. Yeah, BP is definitely a heavy hitteee. They had the avengers square off against Doom in EMH...and he wiped the floor with each of them.

Well, you know that meme with Batman? That he can beat even God with prep? Well, it might be a joke, but for Doom, it's the truth. He did just last year. Took the power of the Omniversal Gods and became God himself. And not, "oh, I can rule this universe" God, just God. He's resisted the Purple Man at point blank range inside a massive amplifier, tortured in Hell and not uttered a word, fooled Mephisto in his home turf, etc, etc. What Batman can supposedly do, Doom actually does it. So, yeah, Doom is the golden standard of efficient characters.

don't know if you guys noticed that clint barton/hawkeye is actually lying dead/unconscious at scarlet witch's feet (am fairly certain it's him based on the clothing and the arm).

is that why she's dishing out the punishment on vision --- cos he took barton down? hmmm.
