Do people not know what underoos are? XD I didn't feel like that a Whedony line at all.
I'm a 90s kid from Russia but got the joke right away and liked it. Maybe because I'm too geeky... :lol

Action and all will likely be equal, it's the added story weight that will elevate it
OR sank it down to the level of AoU.

Spidey should've said "Wut up muther****ers!"
Yeah I can see that going over well with the parents groups.
"Hey Daddy, Spider-Man talks like you do!"
:lol:lol:lol:lol

I still think this is why Peter is on Tony's side at first. XD

I think the biggest WTF in this movie IS including Spidey. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Spidey fan and love he's back in the MCU, but here they are fighting about unchecked "heroes" causing casualties and mass destruction without having to be held liable/accountable for their actions. Tony takes the government's side for some reason, since after all he created Ultron, but he then lets Spidey join the fray? Now if this was an adult Spidey, fine. But we have here a 15 year old minor putting on a costume and endangering his life for unknown reasons. Ummm, did Aunt May and Uncle Ben give their legal parental consent to the government to use their nephew as a soldier??? Tony feels guilty about his actions and all the death and destruction he has caused, but is OK with throwing this 15 year old into this mess and risking his life?? Makes no sense from what we know so far. Unless they are gonna try to throw in the Winter Soldier also being responsible for the deaths of Petey's parents? Poor Bucky being blamed for everything! :lol This is why for Spidey to have such big a part in this that his standalone movie should have come out 1st explaining why he's even here. I hope it makes sense in the movie, but that seems like an awful lot of screen time and backstory for Spidey in a Cap movie. I am looking forward to seeing this, so I hope I'm wrong and it all makes sense... :clap

Spidey will leave the action after the scene you saw in the trailer- heavy homework day y'know!

Makes sense. Why risk killing a teenager in a fight?

They're about to have some telekinetic bondage sexual intercourse, if you get what I'm saying... :naughty

What was cheesy about the line? It was fine...he said, "hey everyone!" And he totally sounds like Spidey...or at least how I imagine his voice. I just hope he makes fun of the characters he's fighting.

>Obvious tense moment
>Predictable tension dismissive moment: "h-hey everyone"

But like someone said, Tony started the moment with "underoos". It's just typical MCU cheese, nothing wrong with it though, CBMs are made of cheese.

I would've preferred, "nice outfits, did your homosexual partners make them for you?"

Spiderman already puts himself in danger fighting mutated super villains. These two teams aren't fighting to the death. Stark is trying to basically arrest his friends. In that context it's not such a big deal. That's also why Tony is so pissed off at Winter Soldier who is just trying to outright kill people. And by extension disappointed in Cap for still protecting him.

Not making sense?

3 words: Comic Book Movie!:)

Someone better die or this CW can kiss my gritz.

Hopefully it's Cap and they give him a nice send off. It is his third movie. I can't think of a more fitting end for the character then being betrayed and killed with a martyresque death. Make Stark and Co. even more guilt ridden. No TDKR "faked my own death" trickery.

After seeing SM's costume for a while, I think it might be the best SM costume to date, even with the dumb black strips and lines, the web pattern is perfect and best of all, it isn't raised like previous ones, eyes are the best of them all, I thought I liked huge bug eyes, but nope, I'm liking "Ditko" style (is that what they call them?) eyes better, and the fact that they're "animated" makes them so much better.

I think I like it better than Raimi's costume.

Bucky IS fighting for his life. Tony wants to capture him yes, but make him pay for his crimes by most likely locking him up for LIFE. Cap wants to help and rehabilitate him. Cap knows who Bucky is and what he's capable of if given a chance. Tony only sees The Winter Soldier and the crimes he committed. Could care less he was brainwashed and experimented on as Hydra. Again, they hinted the Winter Soldier played a part in killing Howard Stark so there's a little revenge here too. Big difference. And as far as Spidey, yes he does fight mutated super villains, but on his own time and way before he hooks up with the Avengers. Again a big lapse in story telling. He's here involved in a feud he has no stakes/interest in that we know of. Plus it's obvious Tony must know who he is, and if not clearly his voice shouts out he's just a kid. It's not like Spidey showed up on his own. Tony calls him in like he's a big gun. That's just plain irresponsible. Especially if this is after the scene where Bucky tries to shoot Stark in the face. So yes he does know death is a possibility.

Marvel has stated what will keep these movies going is strong good characterization and storytelling.. Throwing "Comic Book Movie" out there just makes this sound like childish drival like many people in hollywood feel. Is that what you want, or these movies to be actually good and taken a little more seriously like most movies. I don't think the writers, directors, actors and everyone else feels they're just making "Comic Book'' movies. That's what animation is for.

I don't understand how any rational person knowing what Hydra did to Bucky (and all of these characters should know) could hold him responsible for his crimes as The Winter Soldier. It may as well have been a completely different person. He "died" as a hero in WW2, was revived and then completely brainwashed and programmed by Hydra to do their bidding as basically a slave (even apparently getting regular memory wipes). How is it even remotely his fault?

That had better be a subject of the film. And, if so, it makes Stark and Ross look rather petty (which they already are, IMHO).

I like that but I also wouldn't be bothered if it was Stark. :lol
