I really, really, REALLY hope that this doesn't degenerate into a BvS vs Civil War, or DC vs Marvel thread. That is so goddamned boring. And lame. And everything has already been regurgitated a zillion times anyway.
Especially because I'm pretty sure it's what DC (heaven forbid Marvel too)themselves want...a lot of comparisons and almost wars between both films.

How can anyone hate the 90s it had some of the best cartoons on tv and some great movies and music.

(re-read the posts you're responding to: the dismissal was for 90s comic characters -- not cartoons, movies, music, etc.)

Things were so laid back!

the symbiotes were a great part of comics back then and gave birth to spiders greatest foe, venom!

Plus they had a bunch of other very cool things in it
Yeah, the 90s was pretty cool in some respects.

Wwejedi, please tell spindrift why he's over reacting. You have my blessing to go all out on him :lecture or, at least tell me why you think he's like that :lol

that and because we had the likes of Terminator 2, Jurassic Park and Forest Gump in the 90s so...

It depends on how old you were. I consider the 90's my formative years. Therefore, everything was amazing. Besides today, the only other pop culture era I consider great was the 60s (classic cartoons, Star Trek, Mission:Impossible, Beatles...)

It's all POV.

I was a kid during the 90s, didn't stop me from seeing Terminator 2, the Batman films (plus Batman 1989), Jurassic Park and so on around the time of actual release thanks to my parents :lol

I'm a child of the 70s and 80s and I have an irrational dislike of the 90s. From like 1989-1999, I just don't like much at all in pop culture. Even music acts that I loved from the 80s, I consider their worst work to be from the 90s.

Thankfully, things seemed to get better after that.

Someone clearly can't read & process other's posts. :wave

Still got nothing but ad hominem attacks, eh? Shocking...:lol

Still don't know why people like to bring up Fantastic 4 as an insult to me, I thought it was horrible :lol

And calm down grandpa, I was making a joke, no attacking coming from this side :lol
