One thing they are saying is that it's fun.

yes well i'm sure it's fun but what does that translate to? What I'm saying the build up with how good the Russos did with WS everyone was thinking this will be the ultimate..I personally think they are stuffing way too much into this with all the characters and the Spidey shoehorned entrance ....makes me think this will be uneven and all over the place(maybe Marvel dictating alittle too much to the Russos?...here we go again...). I'm sure it will be a huge moneymaker but I see alot of division on the reviews here once it hits.

...Only a handful of people have seen the film, and their reactions have been very positive, for the most part. Remember, these are not uber fans selected to see the film specifically to hype it all BvS, some are fans, some are regular folk, some are even critics. The fact that they're allowing such "reviews" a month beyond release is a good sign in my book. How about we wait until it actually hits before we make up our minds?

I mean, we saw how well BvS turned out, with the embargo until the last day and the overwhelmingly positive twitter reviews, right? As I said, I don't put much stock in early reactions, but the fact that they're pointing out some problems but still saying that the movie is good, fills me with more confidence than those "best film evarrr" tweets.

Not a bad thing after the "real world" brood fest of BvS. It'll be a welcome change of pace....
Ummm... I tho BvS was a welcome change of pace in this age of Marvel's lighthearted fun. :dunno
Anyway, I don't care about this stuff as long as these films are solid to good.
So far this year's cinematic superheros were pretty freaking nice.

I loved BvS but yes Marvel has great confidence to have screenings this early. I'm hoping it'll be great and I love the concept...just cautious

I liked BvS well enough, but the whole thing thing with the embargo didn't fill me with confidence. All movies have flaws, that's not even debetable, so the fact that certain people in those tweets are saying "yeah, twas good, it had some problems but it was good" is a good sign in my book. Mainly because it seems like an honest opinion and not a "hype-influenced" one. Still, we have about a month to go for the actual release, so I'm reserving judgement until then.

Hum it'd probably an good movie with a similar tones from WS . I mean marvel has a formula now most of their movies are very similar in style and tone and for sme they are good but not amazing. I don't see this moving outside that frame work.

It wasn't a slap at BvS moreso a poke at DC and Marvel fanboys and their bias towards one another. DC boys love their intense, gritty, real world movies made for adults whereas Marvel loves their light, fun and happy films made for all instead of simply enjoying our favorite characters on the silver screen. I regress, DeadPool, BvS were enjoyable enough for the genre making me excited for the upcoming titles this summer.

TWS was a political thriller. GotG was a sci-fi comedy. Ant-Man was a heist film. TFA was a period piece/action-adventure. The light-hearted theme may carry out in most, but they're not all the same, tonally and thematically. Besides, Iron Man 1, TWS and GotG were great, so I don't see the problem. CW is far more brutal, even according to the leaked spoilers.

True they were different in those regard kind of how Wonder Women is set in ww1, suicide squad are a bunch of misfits pulled together. But there is a common thread in all of them a signature style that is found in these movies that makes me know I am watch a certain group of movies. I doubt civil war will be brutal it's still a Disney movie but they will contain the same level of action as the previous films.

You bring up a good point I don't understand were it became a prerequisite that comic book movies need to be light hearted and fun as most people describe marvel movies , the Nolan movies were dark in tone provoking and still enjoyable.

The word they should be using is entertained . Are you entertained or not period. It does not matter then what tone the movie strikes as long as they are able to deliver on that.

Well, if the leaked spoilers are to be believed, then this is WS^2, rather than IM3 or GotG.

Yeah that the other thing noticed when I stated focusing on directors they tend to stay with their style so Russo did this it will be similar to WS they are artists and they have their own style and signature in their work like Nolan his movies even outside Batman have a certain common tone to them .

Yeah, it seems that Marvel's allowing them a bit more creative freedom now. Both the Russos and Gunn have carried over their style, and I hope that continues.

Might not be confidence but also look at the other end where it's a month away and they might make changes to it depending on reactions from critics via editing, so who knows.

The spoiler in 4chan gave me chills in all reality

I hope so I really want to see a villain on pat with what DC has they have a terrible track record when it comes to their use of villains. I am even worried about Thanos that they will tone him down to the point we're he is like all the others.
