So, which of these 2 is more epic for you guys and gals?

DC Trinity first time coming together in a high budget movie!

OR

Spiderman first time in MCU!

Sound off please....

This is practically the Same film story wise, but of course everyone will think this is the masterpiece of the year

For sure the trinity! Spiderman in the MCU is sort of not as epic because we were all just introduced to a new spidey series not so long ago. And spidey's inclusion in the avengers isn't exactly iconic. Im more excited to see a Spiderman solo movie then to see him battle it out with the avengers.

Cool little spot of footage at the end

If you look REALLY close you can see spiderman running with iron man's team.

LMAO wow, please tell me that's a joke, that can't be real. It's like one of those if Civil War was a romance movie sound tracks lol it's to much.

As much as I love Spiderman 1/2 I still think its pretty epic seeing Spiderman in a psuedo Avengers lineup.

Sure I would still love to see him go against Mysterio, Kingpin, Kraven and Daredevil but that will be later in his solo movies.

I still need to see a Spiderman v Hulk scene as well even if just for the lolz.

Speaking of Spider......the voice in the trailer sounded young.....ihow old is this version? Tobey and Andrew were supposed to be "young" but I never really bought the high school piece of either film. Both had older mannerism (plus Tobey looked 30). Thinking it'd feel weird watching a kid fight grown men / women

I never got in to that whole new avengers line in the comics , for me the avengers were always the classic team inserting wolverine or spiderman seemed strange and out of place considering they were already staring in their own teams. It felt like a guest appearance more then anything.

I am not in favor mixing the world up spiderman had enough characters that he did not need to be included in this world same goes for the xmen and FF4 they have such a rich world of villains and supporting characters it like cramming it in by force here.

It blows my mind how ASM2 was setting up the S6 and poof, gone!

After Garfield trashed Sony executives has he done anything else?

Rule # 1 in Hollywood or with any job-career, trash talk your boss thru social media or press and kiss that career goodbye.

Especially a cushy job like acting.

This would have been my vote, had it not fallen rather flat. It was pretty fun still.

Spidey coming to Marvel is exciting, but I won't call it "epic" until I've seen it. :D

On paper, DC Trinity coming together is more epic.

...in actual execution..Spiderman's introduction into the MCU will likely be more epic.

What did he say?

Somthing about the studio was in to much control and that the movie wasn't good cuz of it. he also didn't go to a meeting or somthing which angered the Japanese side of sony.

Then if you remember the hacks are a big cause as to why we have spiderman now. The ideas sony had were stupid and they were just gonna run it into the ground with this sinister six movie. Avi arad was the idiot who kept pushing stupid polot points in these movies. In spite Avi arad announced a spider manless Venom movie (Which will never get off the ground). I believe his words were "Spiderman joining marvel would be a last resort. We have to many stories we want to tell". Lol

In other words avi wanted to cash in all that money before letting spider go

Honestly, the whole IM vs Capt idea feels more epic than BVS ever did, mainly because there's an actual history to these characters on film, unlike new Batman is angry and wants to fight and Superman just wants to talk to Bats about his mom :lol Spiderman is the cherry on top of what should be a really good film with really cool action scenes...from what I've seen so far.

Keep in mind that Avi Arad started his "career" in the 1990s by bootlegging a crappy Batman figure.
No kidding . . . he & Ike Perlmutter had a mold of a Keaton Bats fig that they bootlegged into a Toybiz/Marvel empire.
Perlmutter is now a multi-billionaire. Arad's become a wealthy movie producer.
But both started out bootlegging superhero figures and scraping together sales to form ToyBiz! :lol

The fact that Marvel Studios has been building their universe for eight years gives them a tremendous advantage over other comic-book IPs.

They've taken the time to do the world-building and establish a continuity between events and characters.
This movie is looking to be the culmination of all that effort.
It's unprecedented in the genre, and as ambitious as this is, they still have Infinity War to assemble. :monkey3

Disney has fouled up the MCU before (IM3 was pure doo-doo) so they're hardly blameless . . . but they seem to meddle with their IPs less than the assclowns who run WB. :dunno
