How come? I don't know the guy, but in his videos he comes accross as a typical dude and he' usually pretty fair. I've seen much worse internet reviewers. Not criticizing, just curious.

It actually has nothing to do with his opinions, which I actually agree with sometimes. I just can't stand that kind of "look at me!" narcissism, which is inherent in these YouTube reaction/review videos. It's just... lame. And he's one of the worst ones.

This is probably another one of those generational things. Because I don't get why anyone would want to watch these. My kids (22, 15 and 13) dig them, though. Blech.

Eh, there are others far more annoying. I get what you're saying, but he doesn't really bother me. Look no further than Smosh to see the absolute filth of YT. They started out okay in 2005, but now they have a whole "empire", which is based on them doing stupid **** every Friday. As far as reviews go, I always loved the Nostalgia Critic, because he makes sketches and puts effort in them, which goes against the current trent of "jump cut! corny joke! jump cut! ZOMG" reviews.

I'm sure Disney paid him too :lol

He's probably become my favorite reviewer, my thoughts on films are pretty much in line with his. I can't really stand other youtube video reviewers but Jeremys thoughts seem to come from a point of view of a movie fan first and foremost, which is what I like, and I actually think he's pretty funny.

Because it's a review of a film we want to see :D Same reason I used to watch Ebert and Siskel 80's and 90's.

I suppose its too much to hope that Zemo will have his stripey red sock head and his pimped out ermine shoulder pads....?

I guess you haven't seen the interviews where

The guy that plays Zemo says there is no costume for the character

The fact that guys like this (and other YouTube "celebrities") are considered this generation's answer to "At The Movies" pretty much says it all. :lol :slap:

:lol :lol

Personally, I don't need to talentless waste of good air critic's opinion on anything. I'll judge for myself.

No one is comparing him to Ebert. :dunno He's a regular guy who likes Superhero films and who is a fan of those characters. Even he has said that he's not a "professional" critic...as if that term means anything when it come to giving an opinion of something that's subjective :lol Ultimately, the reason people listen to a specific critic is because that critic or reviewer has a similar taste in film, so watching their opinion gives you an idea of what to expect from a movie.

YouTube reviewers are selling an image or personality of being radical, energetic characters. Listen to their voices, they all sound like cartoon characters. That's just to get them to stand out from the main stream reviewers who sometimes come across as stuck up snobs who only like artsy films. Reviewers like Jeremy are hilarious in my opinion and are talking to fan boys. But, he did say that if said civil war was awesomtacular people are going to say he's on disney's stick, so he leads the comments, and said it anyway.

God I hate that ******. Even when I agree with him. Poster boy for Internet Generation Narcissism.
Dude wat :lol He's probably the least douchy/pretentious/entitled of the Youtube reviewers.

I get what you're saying but he's far from being the poster boy of that, and even in this generation of Narcissism, I still prefer Internet created content to mainstream media/tv. You just have to know how to navigate through the ********, but in mainstream TV, it's all ******** :lol

he is one of us, he is no different than some of you guys,

he collects hot toys , i wouldnt be surprised if he posted here.

His video is LITERALLY a Sideshow post made for youtube..... his review could have easily be a post in here since he is such a nerd and a fanboy. He is not some paid critic that doesn't care about the genre or the franchise... he TRULY cares though.

Thats why I like seeing youtube reviews more than reading long, boring reviews from older guys that never cared about a comic movie

like i said, dont think of the videos as "critic reviews" think of them as a sideshow post made for youtube....

heres another :lol

4.5 out of 5
