It definitely feels like forever

Last week it definitely felt like i'd never see this movie lol. I was scrouging the internet looking for a bootleg but luckily I didn't find it only crappy clips that i didn't watch.

If you're Tony Stark, why in the hell are you...

...recruiting Spider-Kid and putting him in danger, especially after that mother guilt-tripped you about the death of her son? Granted, the kid's got special powers and abilities but Tony put him in harm's way at the airport.

I just came back. I could go on and on about it, but I will ot. I'll just say this: IMO, it's the best super-hero movie ever made. I'm not sure about best CBM ever made, but definitely in the Top 5 CBMs ever. But, as far as SH movies go (Iron Man, Man of Steel, Avengers, GotG, etc, etc), it's hands down the best. The meotional gut punches, the drama, the tension, the characterization, it all works. The major component is that you knwo these characters. You are attached to them, and when they fight, you "feel" for them. As for Zemo, he's terrific. He's not in it much, but he shows great promise. Where Luthor Jr. failed and utterly crashed, he succeeds. In short, go watch it, now!

Bingo....only difference being I consider it the best super hero / cbm made to date. Unclear the difference between super hero and cbm...

Just got back from my 7 o'clock showing and wow I'm just over amazed definitely the best marvel movie to date and it just was an emotional and exciting experiance. Plus as a bonus I got the exclusive ticket. My theatre was packed and everyone was o the edge of there seats.

saw it earlier today. Some seriously cool action, and loved seeing the avengers in action. Most of the characters were filler though and was hugely disappointed in black panther and spiderman. Both absolutely shoe horned in. But I did love the little they were In I guess. But spidey looked horribly cgi the entire time. Also not sure what happened to the "accords" or whatever it was. On the surface level it was great, thinking about any of it left me scratching my head. Both capt and Iron man seemed to overreacting entirely or simply not doing their research. They were both right in their own way, which I guess is a set-up for a good fight, but if felt more like "just sit down for five minutes and figure it out". Maybe if they left the new guys out the other avengers could have shined better (even though I think they were heading in the right direction with wanda and what not). Can anyone clarify what Widow said to Bucky when he had her by the throat? Also iron-man gets all choked up about a college kid dying in "the incident" and then sends a 15 year old into battle? WTF. (and it seems as though the russos completely forgot spiderman was even in the movie by the end. Anyway sorry for the rambling, it was a good time in the theatre. Certainly not the best movie ever or even the best superhero movie. I think it pretty much falls right within the rest of the mcu movies. Fingers crossed we actually get to see Holland in the suit eventually instead of cgi. Kind of felt like the wintersoldier's story could have just been told in this rather than two movies, it seemed to be retreading the same ground. Also every one choosing sides seemed to be obsolete by the end, just random gym class dodgeball picks. I only typed the bad because their is too much good to type, over all solid 7/10. (another week wishy washy villain is really painful at this point)

Thank you, that's how I feel about his movie. I understand the friendship portion but even then should hold no excuse on why he thinks he's better than everyone else. I'm actually on both sides of the team at the end of the movie, but I know now that even marvel understands that after this movie, in no way the other fillers will build up towards infinity war which is why I'm glad they are renaming them

To be fair:

On Cap's side:
  • After the events of WW2 (TFA), Avengers 1 (World Council nukes New York) and SHIELD being infiltrated and run by Hydra (TWS), I can see why Cap will have issues about having the Avengers under government control.
  • Cap's point was proven in the end. When there was real actionable intelligence of a potential group of "Winter Soldiers" being set loose, The government won't allow the Avengers to intervene. In this sense, "the safest hands are still our own" proved to be correct.

On Tony's side:
  • After IM1, where his weapons were used for wrongdoing, IM2 where his actions in IM1 lead to Whiplash, Avengers 1 where Stark Towers turned into the focal point of the battle of New York and AoU where he created Ultron, I can see why he wants to be kept on check.
  • Stark is used to the world bending to his will. I think he truly believes he can bend the Sokovia Accords to be more beneficial to the Avengers down the line. Signing it now was him buying time.
  • He knew early on he made a mistake when he signed the accords when he was tasked to bringing Cap in.
  • He was very objective (as is expected of someone smart enough to be a billionaire) up until just before the end. In fact, he broke the Accords agreement by coming to Cap's aid. Stark was always poor at handling his emotions.

Both teams had it right.

To his credit, I don't think he actually believed there would have been a fight. You can see his concern at the end of the fight when he came rushing to Peter's side at the first sign that he might have been hurt.

Amazing movie. Loved every minute of it.

I also loved that everyone had legitimate reasons for standing where they did, especially Cap and Iron Man (maybe less so for Spidey but he was the newbie). You could definitely feel the emotion and tension behind Cap and Iron Man's encounters while standing on opposite sides of the Accords.

God Bless Cap.......Best trio of films for,a,super hero. I can't think of another that hit all three like this series....most deliver 1 or 2

****ing film butchering disgusting gimmick!!!

I can't give proper review because of this unfortunate turn of events, **** I HATE 3D.

I did like many things and the story seemed pretty nice but I was too ****ing distracted by how much I ****ing hated 3D to pay proper attention.

****.

I have no idea where people who are calling this a 10/10 are coming from. There were just too many problems for this to be perfect. Spider man 2 runs circles around all three cap movies in terms of emotion and plot. This movie was really not that emotional....., it came close but the most emotional scenes were just jumbled with the rest of the plot. Everyone has there opinions though, I thought I was pretty good anyway. Really don't see how everyone shat on Ultron so fast and have no problems with this. If I were to put my money on it this will be regarded as highly over rated in a couple years.

I just saw it in imax 3d. Utterly shocked at how much it didn't mess up the movie. It looked fine the entire time, super bright and never blurry. Although not really meant for 3d. I had the same thought as you when I was told we were seeing it in 3d, it surprised me though.

I don't know, I've seen Imax 3D. Also hate it.

It literally brings nothing to the experience, nothing. Kill it.

I loved that Ant-man called Hawkeye
"Arrowguy"
:lol :yess: I gave him that nickname :lol Ant-man is my ninja

Vision was glorious.

If they release a SHF of Vision, I'll get it. It will be the only MCU figure I'll every buy.

Maybe BP, he was fantastic as well.

Spider-Man, Iron Man and the like are Super-Hero movies, whereas Dredd for example, is a Comic Book Movie.

Well, I also have no idea how can someone like BvS more, but that's their personal opinion. I dissagree pretty much with every single word in there, but it's still your very own, very personal opinion. For me this is a 9-10/10 and BvS a 4-5/10 but hey, different strokes for different folks.

EXACTLY!!! This plot point proves that Stark is
an absolute madman who should be locked up in the Raft for bringing Peter in cause it proves he's truly without a moral compass. That's so bloody wrong its criminal
. Honestly, this made me hate Stark even more in the film.
