Personally the CGI was fine for most of the film....only questionable parts for me was the first Bucky chase.....

But to this day....the BEST CGI ever done is Dawn of Planet of the Apes......that still looks amazing...and the way you felt for the apes...and believe the interaction between human actors and the computer "drawings" is second to none...

CW, not even close.

And S2 DD 1-4 was great, what does that tell you about CW.

But CW ends in 2 1/2 hours, DD started dragging with the Elektra subplot.

It's really close for me, that's why I asked. If it comes down to being re-watchable than I give CW the clear edge because I've been wanting to see it again from the moment the credits ended. Only had the desire to watch the hallway scene from DD S2 when it was over.

So, CW or the first 4 episodes of Daredevil S2, which was the better experience?

I'll take the Netflix stuff over CW any day. I think they are far superior. Hell, I'd even take Jessica Jones over the film too.

The only film that competes with them for me is TWS. Still the best MCU film IMO.

The first 4-5 episodes of DD were better to my eyes, but that's not to say that I didn't really like Civil War. Both were excellent.

If I was ranking the season as a whole vs. Civil War, I would go with Civil War, because DD started really dragging with the Hand subplot and Elektra toward the end IMO. Sometimes more is less (see Age of Ultron, Batman V Superman, and X-Men: Apocalypse for more examples of this).

Are we to assume that Cap "knew" that Bucky killed Stark's parents because the file Widow gave him at the end of TWS contained a list of his targets? Or was it implied somewhere else that I didn't pick up on?

Civil War. And those first four episodes of season 2 were absolutely brilliant. There are some superb bits in the second half of the season, but, as others have mentioned, there's also a lot of filler.

I had assumed that Cap looked into old friends. Only reason I got that was during Peggy's funeral when he said he was surprised she was still alive. I'd assume he looked into Howard Stark.

I feel Zemo trying to find the report proved how difficult it could have been to find out the death of the Starks. I don't think it would have been in that file. Maybe Cap got clearance from SHIELD before the Hydra takeover. Makes sense since he didn't know Bucky was still alive, so maybe after TWS he had assumed it was Bucky.

I thought somebody else mentioned this already but they show it very quickly on the computer screen in TWS when Zola was distracting Steve & Nat

Oh right. Forgot about the file ... That would make sense. I went into the Civil War knowing that Winter Soldier killed the Starks because of that quick shot of the article shown by Zola in which it says that Howard and Maria died in a car crash. "Accidents will happen," he said ... And the next quick shot was an article about Fury's "death" which we knew for a fact was the Winter Soldier, so that's how I connected the dots.

I didn't take Zola's comment as indicative that it was Bucky. He didn't seem like a "make it look like an accident" kinda guy prior to CW. I guess you could say that the info was "out there" because Zemo obviously knew who the killer was prior to searching for the tape. He just wanted the video so that Stark would have no option to deny it. I'm going to assume that Cap either knew from Widow's file or that they found out between films while hunting for Bucky. Even if Cap put 2 and 2 together based on nothing more than Zola's speech then I suppose that will be enough of an explanation.
