Took your PS and played around with it, new suit more or less looks like this, minus the leather parts on the pants.
Hope that gives you guys a better idea.

Cheers again. :duff

Eh, it looks weird...
Made sense with AoU look to continue the flag pattern on arms and then conect it with the chest via lines.
Here it's just one thin stripe and nothing more, no contex at all, very distracting visually.

I believe the designer's intent was for the 2 red ab stripes to go up and look like they connect with the stripes on the arms.

I am a little worried that Hawkeye is listed in this one

I assumed his character "retired" and went back home at the end of AOU, as he was also absent in the final scene with the new team and Cap and Widow.

Hopefully he's just a cameo in the new one and not back on the team or important. I was hoping he would be gone so the new guys had one less Avenger to share screen time with.

That's about as annoying as how Tony has a suit, with no reference made to the end of Iron Man 3. He retired and blew up all his suits, then wham! Back in the suit.

You can't take away the fact that he is Iron Man he says that himself, he won't be making new suits all the time, thats the only thing that changed. He wanted to retire during AoU but by now we know that's not gonna happen

I actually liked the AoU suit. Then again, I'm far too ignorant to care. :lol

:exactly::goodpost:
Lose the pattern around the chest star and your "some red" would be my pick. I don't want red on the chest but do want white on the sleeves.
I'll see about doing that for you :hi5:

Putting this where it belongs:

Pretty much confirms my earlier descriptions. The final Mk46 does have some slight changes to the concept art design above but kept the larger design elements, namely more gold and trapezoid chest RT. For Cap, I don't believe he has the leathers on his shoulders anymore, but the red stripe on his arm is indeed correct.

I'm glad that they've pretty much settled on a somewhat uniform look between Cap's...um, uniforms. From TFA to Avengers to TWS they were all wildly different. He isn't Iron Man, he had the same costume for like 70 years. I'm fine with his AoU suit being his default with only minor tweaks from here on out.

Who cares, the movie is going to bomb anyways with only a 190 million opening weekend.

Can't wait for this.

Wondering, was there a reason why Iron Patriot didn't have a star on his chest piece. I know it was an Upgrade of War Machine, and WM MkII is a rework of IP; but I didn't know if it was a studio thing, or a legal thing. Either way, I'm pissed if they can do a trapezoid here, but not a star for IP. :slap

Small rant.

I'd imagine we see the New Avengers here, and Tony mostly contracting with government and the occasional hero. Can't see anyone really joining him, maybe Hawkeye; and possibly Nat; but that's out of SHIELD.

I think they said Bucky was supposed to have a main role and be central to the story. But I think he is supposed to be reason Cap and Tony are at war with another?

I could see War Machine joining Tony. Maybe Vision too since he's Jarvis.

Falcon and Scarlet Witch will definitely be on team Steve.

I don't think they would for that. I imagine everything from New York and Ultron, that starts it off.

I really wished they had made this, and then Iron Man 3 after with Extremis. Would be perfect and could essentially send off for Bucky to be Cap. Plus it also would have added Maria Hill more into the mix, she is very underused.

I can see WM joining too, but more out of military and government obligation. Vision would probably stay with Cap, due to being humble and honest. It seems he isn't really Jarvis anymore.

The last point, 100% for sure.

Pretty sad how the mighty have fallen. Just a couple years ago we all thought Marvel was going to be the next big thing. . .oh, well. Back to the drawing board, I guess. REBOOT!

Who knows, maybe Rhodey goes against how he's been portrayed and joins team Cap against Stark. :horror

Will bring a great deal of tension that's for certain.
