Yep, I love DC and Marvel both. I am sure both movies will be amazing.

As for the studios/films, both companies have made great movie and both have made mediocre ones.

Yeah BvS will be a cornerstone for WB/DC....I 'm tired of dissing DC in these forums
If AoU is the latest and greatest Marvel's got.... DC can breathe alittle easier...

*Braced for the onslaught of 'I'm With...' sigs like we saw in 2006-7*

I solve this kind of silliness by turning sigs off everywhere I go. :lol

If people can't or don't want to wrap their heads around the idea of all the movies tying together to carry a much larger story from Marvel, then I don't see how they'll be able to handle DC copying that exact same approach. :dunno

I just hope when it comes to the "teams" that it makes sense for characters on either side to be there - that none of them are done for balancing or for some sort of dramatic shock value. This is my biggest fear with tackling this storyline.

I've always been of the opinion you should the write the story around your characters. If you can't make the story work in a way that makes sense for/does justice to the characters, you throw it in the trash and write something that works for them.

I don't want character butchering for the sake of the plot.

AoU already went full retarded.
Even if the writing for CACW is good it will not be able to make sense or justice to every single character.
Rogers and Stark? Most likely. Bucky and Sam? Why not.
Everyone else should and most likely will be half assed at best.

I guess you've never read the story? Marvel threw in everybody and thier 2nd cousin without any reason

It’s to jump off into the next Avengers, Infinity War,” Evans said. “So Cap 3 is going to be the set-up of the real battle, so there are a lot of people.”

In addition, Jeremy Renner and Scarlett Johansson revealed that they know whose “side” they’ll be on for the conflict, but they wouldn’t divulge.

Feeling left out, Mark Ruffalo pointed out that he won’t be in the film which prompted Johansson to respond: “Well you never know, there’s always time…I’ll talk to the Russos about it.”

The cast for Captain America: Civil War continues to grow, in what Anthony Mackie calls “Avengers 3.8.” In addition to Evans, Renner, and Johansson “Civil War” will feature Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Anthony Mackie as The Falcon, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Chadwick Boseman in his MCU debut as Black Panther, Daniel Bruhl as Baron Helmut Zemo, Frank Grillo as Crossbones, and the brand-new Spider-Man.

[sarcasm]I love how Bucky/Sebastian Stan is always getting left out of these cast lists.....[/sarcasm]

Steve finding Bucky is what made me so hyped about Cap 3 in the first place.

Ain't it crazy how just Tony Stark is just the bad guy? I would hate to be a civilian in the MCU world, pretty much every hero created their own enemies!

Every time I get excited to see Marvel's next huge epic movie, someone at Marvel does an interview telling us there's a much bigger more epic movie coming soon after, it puts a dent in my excitement for most of these films while watching them.
