Every time I get excited to see Marvel's next huge epic movie, someone at Marvel does an interview telling us there's a much bigger more epic movie coming soon after, it puts a dent in my excitement for most of these films while watching them.

Yeah I'd really like them to hold off on billing Civil War as a two hour trailer for Infinity War. Just let it be its own epic thing.

You know Marvel should do that, and make it their biggest movie yet, just so that when film historians speak about the highest grossing films of all time they'll be forced to utter the words Avatar, Titanic, Cap Wolf, E.T....

. . .Cap-Wolf vs. ET vs. Spider-Ham

Yeah this. Unfortunately all I was thinking about when I was watching AOU was how this was going to lead into Infinity War, Civil War, and Black Panther. Even Ant-Man. I think they should really cool it with announcing these movies ahead of schedule this early.

Hell, they should focus on making the film stand alone, with tidbits that lead into other movies, and the post credit scene lead into the next movie, like Iron Man 1 and the first Avengers

I think Guardians of the Galaxy probably did the best in regards of being its own thing but still contributing to the overall universe.

Don't know why they keep bringing up Thanos they have done nothing but tease him. instead of all the unless cameos they should have inserted something significant with him in all the movies so we can get a idea of who he is.

Agreed, it was handled perfectly in that regard

Well I wouldn't call his role in GOTG a tease but I think/hope they will develop him more before IW's. That being said I'd prefer if they kept Civil War out of the Cosmic stuff

Got a new picture of the Mark 46.

It's rumored to be made up of nano machines that Tony mentally controls. so it really seems they're going full on Bleeding Edge here. And it looks much better from this angle. I like the helmet now.

Probably keeping Vision alive, the safety of AI.

Or it will probably be about government control regardless of identity.

I read that
Tony finds out Bucky killed his parents back in the day, that combined with the fact that Bucky and Steve are/were friends, the Superhero Registration Act, and their differing points of view on stuff as established in AoU.

Hmmm...interesting.

The one time where if they went against established casting and put him as Wong for Dr. Strange that no one would complain :lol

Has Marvel even confirmed what they'll be fighting about? The identity registration thing from the comics wouldn't make much sense.

They'll be fighting about control over superheroes, you can already see some people hate Stark in AoU. I assume people will find out the story behind Ultron and they will demand the government to control the superhero's decisions

Tony wanted to protect the world with an artificial system and that almost killed everyone I guess now he would think he can't make decisions for himself anymore, and since Stark seems to trust his better judgement over others I guess he would think the avengers need to be supervised by someone

And I guess Cap would disagree, after what happened with shield Steve knows that when people are obsessed with control **** happens.

Maybe that's how it goes :dunno

Maybe, although the hate at least from the people in AoU was that he was still a war monger. There were the graffiti Iron Men with dollar signs over the heads. Tony seems to want to end the need for heroes, at least that is what he seemed to be going for in AoU. Cap seems to have accepted it by the end, calling it home.

My guess is that the division will be there. Tony trying to take the system apart, the need of it whereas Steve has come to need it, to make him feel a part of the world he lives in.

Tony joked in Iron Man 2 that he "Privatized Peace," the Iron Legion kind of showed the next step of that. They showed that he wanted to upgrade from cavalry to front line soldiers. He might be trying to create a world where people wouldn't need to be called on for defense.

Or, they could use the Inhumans as their breaking point. Tony called him and Banner "Mad Scientists" who is to say that he wouldn't want to see what he could learn from the "enhanced" maybe not to the point of capturing and killing but testing on a dead one, trying to replicate. Something like already put Steve and Tony at odds in AoU...
