[Chapter 2099]

This movie also definitely has the chance to improve on its source material. I thought the original story was a cool concept but actually one of my least favorite events ever. I think it could have been so much more.

Interesting! I feel the exact opposite. Loved this event - one of my faves, but I'm skeptical Marvel can do this one justice. No Reed and Sue in this is a big thing for me.

The whole bits with the FF was actually some of my favorite parts, actually. The stuff that Reed and Sue go through was pretty awesome to see, not to mention Sue's complete badass moment when Robo Thor pops up and kills Bill. I was actually much more a fan of Secret Invasion and Dark Reign all the way through Siege. And I would say the next event that I thought was absolutely fantastic was Infinity and Secret Wars is damn epic so far. I'm gonna miss Hickman so much. His Fantastic Four run is amazing as well.

But I do hope that the movie is written well and i'm trusting the Winter Soldier team with the project. I really wonder how they're gonna handle Spidey though since he doesn't have the history that comic Spidey does. Not to mention if Daredevil will make a short cameo. I would honestly hope that he'll pop up. And somewhat of a shame that we most likely won't get that Punisher/Spidey moment either. Ah well. Can't wait for the trailer to hit!

That's what I'm talking about. The Reed/Sue conflict was one of the highlights for me. How is Marvel supposed to do this 'event' justice without them?

Again, I'm with you though. I'll keep faith, but I'm torn. A part of me can't wait for this, but then a skeptical part is nervous about how they can even pull this off.

so the Stark and Rogers team have been officially confirmed via promo art with some surprises. Sharon Carter looks to have a good role this get go, and Scarlet Witch, Spidey and Hulk aren't in the promo art for any of the teams.

This will not live up to the hype/vision I was expecting. I can already see that.

And I want to be wrong. And I hope I come singing praise on release day, but my hopes died just a little bit more with that promo pic.

If Capt can get Hulk on his team, then he would have an advantage, plus how cool and ironic it would be if Tony and Steve are talking and Tony says, "I have an army" (Iron drones) and Steve is like, "I have a Hulk."

I'm curious how Spidey and Scarlet Witch fit into this.

I'm surprised Scarlet Witch is missing from the promo art. Maybe whatever happens that sparks the war has to do with her and she is locked up or something in the beginning of the movie.

Stunning is an understatement.

She has the 2 most important qualifications required for a successful Hollywood career.

If Capt can get Hulk on his team, then he would have an advantage, plus how cool and ironic it would be if Tony and Steve are talking and Tony says, "I have an army" (Iron drones) and Steve is like, "I have a Hulk."

Yeah, the whole Civil "WAR" looks more like a wrestling tag match. The West Side Story gangs looked more impressive. Hell, the NWO (wrestling faction) had more members

Still, Stark has a better faction. He alone could take care of Capt's team...and he has Vision? Please, Vision can also take care of Capt's entire team by himself.

Two minutes into that "war", Capt should be like...

Yep. I agree. Can't see how Tony's team is going to have a problem with Capt. Of course, they'll be something to 'even' the playing field, but on paper so far, not fair in the slightest.

As for the rest, that new IM armor is freaking awesome and I'm happy that they "beefed up" WM. Not sure how Cap can even attempt to go against IM's team but those battles are gonna be siiiiick.
