Saw it today... Very good movie, but Thor is still my favorite movie of the Summer.

I'm going to say that Thor and Cap are very close-- but if I have to do the summer break-down (of what I've seen) it'd be:

Captain America
Thor
X-Men: First Class
Super 8
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows (Part II)*never read the books
Green Lantern
Transformers
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

  1. Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Pt 2 (Superb)
  2. Thor/Captain America (awesome)
  3. Transformers 3 (Damn that was freaking awesome)
  4. Green Lantern (just a lot of fun and easy to get into the character)
  5. X-Men First Class (solid flick)
  6. Super 8 (really well done)
  7. Fast Five (lot of fun)
  8. Sucker Punch (really fun)
  9. POTC 4 (average)
  10. Battle LA (average)
  11. Green Hornet (not so hot)

:lol to the 10th power.

Hayley Atwell scores a perfect 5 out of 5 Boner Stabones. :lecture

Caps leading the summer IMO, iv scene all of the summer blockbusters exept for Pirates and Potter, so i cant judge them but Cap had somthing the other blockbusters didnt, thats Charm! Cap had alot of heart in it and you went on an epic adventure and you were so invested in the film. If they do make a seuqel Johnston needs to return, it be cool for him to do a take on the future, he always does steller period films with the art deco style, imagine if it was the future and he had that stylized world!! Bravo to the cast and crew for CAP!

I really enjoyed the movie. I watched on saturday, the day after it came out and I downloaded yesterday and watched another time. Quality sucks , but I can't wait for the Bluray release (which as far as I am concerned, should be the next day after the movie is off the theaters), I love re-watching my favorite scenes.

The ending was so great
watching Cap in the current times NY City!
The end was also pretty sad... I felt for the guy! Haha, my girlfriend actually had tears in her eyes after he said
"I had a date"

Can someone answer something though

Was Red Skull transported somewhere? That scene was clearly a reference to the Bifröst from Thor. I know he isn't in the Avengers (though he should be) but is it possible that he may come back in the future Cap movies?

I'm thinking we'll see Red Skull in the Avengers either as a character, or mentioned by SHIELD agents. I also have a striking suspicion that Bucky will be back in Captain America 2 (I hope it gets made).

Yeah, I think we're not done with the Red Skull and the next time we see Bucky he will be the Winter Soldier.

I really wouldn't be shocked to see the Red Skull at some point in the Avengers... Might just be a cameo at the end though, setting up Cap 2 or Avengers 2. He's obviously not dead though.

yeah, I really doubt Marvel would've been ok giving Red Skull that "cheap" of a death

:lol Who knows?? :lol

On a bit of a side note it looks as if the Avengers Cap outfit would be best suited for HTs famous rubber treatment.... In my eyes that makes the Captain America movie version all the more awesome.... Screw rubber! :lecture
