It's all personal opinion, but I think this look better than the Unreal sculpt.

Unreal sculpts never look right to me. The texture and material always looks off. I am assuming that they are 3D printed plastic and that is why the paint never looks right.

As always, lots of room for improvement.

Quick things I’m seeing:

For both helmeted and non-helmeted sculpts- Likeness is not good to a 2014 TWS era Chris Evans as Captain America/Steve Rogers. The sculpt is too “old” and more like Endgame. As always, Hot Toys sculpt paint apps are crappy, imo. Too idealized. The hairline is too squared off, can be softened up and rounded.

Subpar proportions and ill-fitting tailoring. No traps, the body doesn’t fill the suit as it should in the upper body. Material around biceps are baggy like always. Belt is too high on torso (can be adjusted, but why didn’t they just position it in the right spot?). Lousy stitching on the shoulder straps and belt - way too large for 1/6 (the EG Stealth suit straps have smaller more to scale stitching). Star emblem can be larger. Also, where’s his neck?

Suit material can be more screen accurate. Way too rigid cause they insist on reusing this hard canvas vinyl instead of finding something that’s closer in finish and needs to be more flexible.

These are thoughts off my head for now. INART would do better if they had the license.

Preordered the figure. I'm so in for it and at $280 it's a great price and something you don't see often. Definitely picking up more characters from the line if done.

Yes, all the hands are brand new. It’s mentioned in the description and the specs

This one will look great with the eventual, inevitable TWS Black Widow - Artisan Edition. I don’t think it will come out soon though, as HT will not skip order and go with Artisan Edition of The Avengers version next in 2025. Maybe in 2026, perhaps?

From your lips to Howard's ear... This is still Widow's best film and yet close to her absolute worst figure. Between that and Bucky's flaking, TWS needs the 2.0 treatment.

I think it looks good. I’m just very selective on Marvel figures I purchase. The price makes it tempting but overall not my favorite suit.

I'm not a huge Marvel guy, and I can count on nearly one hand all the Marvel figures I have... but TWS is my favorite Cap film, and the stealth suit was always my favorite look for him -- a little less comic book -- so this is tempting.

When HT makes a Winter Soldier 2.0, I will like cave on that and this.

The hot toys noses are too far below the mask. Even though hot toys copied this sculpt hot toys' is still less accurate than the unreal customs, and dont get me started on comparing the neutral sculpts because thats objectively not even close.

I'm in the same space. I really like this figure -- and love the film -- but I'll wait to see if we get one more TWS character, either Bucky or Natasha, before breaking my "no repeat characters" rule.

Honestly don't get the hate. I love everything about this. Yes it does look a bit bloated and aged from what Evans looked like in TWS. But it is still by far their best Evans likeness done to date and one of the best sculpts I have seen of him. It does not look that bloated in actual proto pics so It could just be the angle.



Regardless I love the new helmeted sculpt also, it is spot on. I don't have a problem with them using EG expression for this release, though the 3rd expression is definitely a funky one. It is 100% a sign that we will get many more 2.0 Caps soon as they could easily reuse this helmeted sculpt for AOU, Civil War & EG. The proportions while not perfect is a gigantic improvement, even over the Exclusive EG Strike Suit release.

Personally, I agree. I think it is a great sculpt and worlds above all the old HTs. But it isn't perfect, I only really liked his "Mjolnir" expression and the fact that he included the movie-accurate earpiece in his sculpts. His neutral sculpt looks super weird.

The weird texture on the skin is just an "Unreal" style thing. He does all of his sculpts like that and I personally never liked it. But it does look better in the hands of better painters.
