Yeah :lol Well, if it was Chris Reeve Superman from Superman 2, he might really do it. He was an apparent wanton murderer, he erased memories, he beat up human bullies for revenge, etc. I wouldn't ____ with that Superman.

I would. I'd just make sure to toss some prime vajayjay at him first so he'd give up his powers. :lol

"We're all just pawns in a larger scheme."

That says it all right there. :lol

Maybe in a game of chess but not a beer drinking contest.

Looks about right!

Why was a cross fight thread made between Cap and Batman instead of marvels main ICON vs. dcs main ICON?

1st off: Spiderman is Stronger, Faster, AND smarter than Batman. He has a Spider-Sense, and currently knows Kung-Fu. He uses web-shooters, but still has organic webbing if he chooses to use it. He has multiple suits for different purposes just like Batman, including a stealth suit.

How does Batman win?

I'll tell you how...

He can't :)
Why? He needs time to plan right? Sadly, Spiderman will do the same kind of planning as well. How can you get ahead of a genius when ur butlers not around to help you, and ur sidekicks are busy getting some ass? Well, except for Damian, whose too busy being a pain in Bruces ass :lol

Also when spidey get angry he's damn near uncatchable, he once unleashed a web fury on Stark and webbed his whole body in seconds, if Iron Man in his super fast suit couldn't escape that Batman certainly woudn't be able to.

I want to see someone come up with an excuse as to why Batman will beat Spiderman, when Spidermans Faster, Stronger, Younger (Nightwings age?), and certainly more intelligent than him.

That's what like almost everyone about to face Batman says in the comics right before he smashes their faces in. :D

Faster and stronger, yes. Younger has nothing to do with it and if anything that would be Spiderman's disadvantage. More intelligent? Not even true. First battle Spiderman would wins. Second battle, if there was one, Batman wins. However, since they have met before the fight wouldn't happen and if for some stupid reason it did, Batman wins.

They'd say something like "cos he's the ******* Batman" :wink1:

First Battle Spider-Man wins second batt.... Wait there are no do-overs, Spidey won!! :lol

:lol 2nd battle, Batman busts out a sample of Spider-Man's webbing he froze with a liquid nitrogen capsule from his utility belt before it disintegrated and in the Batcave, designs a material that prevents Spider-Man's webs from sticking to it and constructs a new suit. But wait.... Parker aka boy genius, having already fought Batman before and knowing Batman will work around his main weakness from the last fight, anticipated this so instead of using the lab-made webbing they fought with last time, he alters the chemical make-up (or if the modern rendition, switches to his natural webbing) making Batman's suit a useless upgrade which leaves Batman on the same grounds as the first fight. Batman loses round 2, too.

Batman is not Smarter than Spiderman, and his body is certainly aging. Its easy to say a spoiled rich kid is smarter when he's had all the best things in life handed to with him without working for it. Imagine what Parker would accomplish if he switched financial places with Wayne, and vice versa.

Spiderman will still be fighting, while Batman has to go sit down in a wheelchair somewhere and send out Bat-Droids, or hire a replacement (Terry). Or he could go get Alfred to dress up and be the new Batman since he likes to treat all 3 of his sidekicks like crap 99% of the time. :lol

All prep talk for Batman is useless because Parker does the exact same thing. Batman cannot get an advantage planning out ways to take him down, because it goes both ways.

The coffee I drank this morning plus the beans I had for lunch are giving me the hot farts, I wondering if Batman could beat them?

I'm glad you know the exact outcome of every imaginary scenario. Get back to me when you've read some comic books.

And yet another member who doesn't read comics joins the debate.

Is this a rhetorical question? Batman always wins against everything

Yes, it is. And no he doesn't.

If you can't tell by the content of my posts that I've been reading comics for decades, then maybe you need to hit up your local LCS and pick up a few TPBs to educate yourself a bit more about the characters being discussed. Because short of openly praising Batman and belittling everybody who doesn't share your obsession with the Bat, you have offered zilch as far as any rational arguments.
