I'm not picky either, so I don't really care if it is or isn't considered canon. I just think the longer it goes the harder it would be to say it is only because of the fore mentioned time line issues. However, i would like to see it continue as long as it can since its one of the better things I've seen on TV these days.

I think I already said, I'd prefer it to be some alt-verse stuff. There's loads of inconsistencies in the film "canon" as it is so it also doesn't really bother me too much if it is considered canon. The only reason I wouldn't want it to be canon is that Anakin not becoming Vader is far more interesting to me.

Hi Sideshow Freaks! Would any one know what the best kind of paint is to use on the little 'black' vent at the base of the helmet? It's really starting to bug me that it's white.

Thanks!

Like I said, I would be open to that as well. Though it makes me wonder what would they would do if Anakin doesnt become Darth Vader. Mace Windu would have killed Chancellor Palpatine and the Empire would not have existed... unless The Confederacy of Independent Systems finds a new leader who is a tactical bad-ass like Grand Admiral Thrawn was when the Empire fell.

he would say canon

He can suck on his canon, I wouldn't mind it being canon if they didn't pander to the lowest common denominator. Just because it's animation doesn't mean it has to be dribble. They could aim a little higher, most tween shows do. It's not my canon.

That's the thing though Josh, you speak in generalities. You never go into specifics. And I don't know if you're throwing me in the OT only club because even though they are flawed there is a lot to love in the PT. Hell, I can barely stomach the CW and I bought Rex. We as fans should expect more, basic well thoughtout storytelling is all I am looking for. Didn't LOTR pretty much show up the prequels? Doesn't that show you anything? This has nothing to do with being a purist.

Oh I've been specific before. I was just making a statement there. I think there some pretty good storytelling in the CW myself as good as anything SW wise both OT or PT. LOTR is better than anything SW OT, PT, CW, or EU. For me that is but I'm a bigger LOTR fan than SW.

I love the actual CLONE episodes, but they can do better than this. GI JOE: Resolute, Renegades, Transformers: PRIME, Sym-Bionic Titan, and Young Justice are all examples of animated shows that are better written and more well thought out than the CW. There is no reason to settle, they have the tools (and I thought the talent) to do so. And I LOLed, I didn't know you like LOTR more than SW. Whew, at least you like those more than the prequels. :duff

I have to agree. just like any tv show goes there are some episodes that are really good and some that are really bad. But I think CW has had some really really good episodes, even ones that didn't have Anakin or Obi-wan in their main plot line, that are on the same level of story telling as anything else we've seen or read about SW

As I said in another thread I think I watched all of season 1 and 2 recently and didn't have a problem with it. So unless something has changed in 3 I think its been fine. Yeah, I love SW and all but if I had to give up one for the other SW would get dropped well before LOTR collecting wise. I just think the book and the movies are better than anything anyone with Lucas has or could come up with. :duff

I think SW has been on the same line from the start as far as all the things acting, story, writing, etc. Which is fine cause I've enjoyed it.

Rings stick together. :rock

The only Star Wars stuff I really enjoy are the two Clone Wars series and even still some of the 3D episodes are really terrible. I was never a big fan of the original films and I find the prequels unwatchable messes. I pretty much agree on all points with the Plinkett reviews of them and actually those reviews are probably my favorite Star Wars related entertainment.

Clerks 2:
Randal Graves: All right, look, there's only one "Return," okay, and it ain't "of the King," it's "of the Jedi."
Hobbit Lover: Oh, Star Wars geek.
Randal Graves: Oh, I'm the geek? Look at you two whipping out your preciouses.
Elias: You'll have to excuse him, he's not "down" with the trilogy.
Randal Graves: Oh, what the _____ happened to this world? There's only one trilogy, you _____ing morons.
Hobbit Lover: You know what, maybe we should start calling your friend Padme, because he loves Manakin Skywalker so much, right?
[in robot voice]
Hobbit Lover: Danger danger, my name is Anakin. My ____ty acting is ruining saga.
Elias: [chucking] Yea-Yeah, you're crazy, Jar-Jar.
Randal Graves: Oh, I'm crazy? Those _____in' hobbit movies were boring as hell. All it was, was a bunch of people walking, three movies of people walking to a _____ing volcano.

Sorry. I love LOTR, part of the filmcrew - but this made me pee my pants...!
