And in case anyone was unsure, the new images clearly show a ribbed bodysuit. Might almost be too ribbed :lol But looks better than the flat shiny ones we've been getting.

The best news for me is that they'll have no excuse to NOT give Jango an Arena jetpack, as I prefer Jango with that particular one on.

I liked the new undersuit a lot more as well. It's both thicker, which works better with the skinny armored body and looks to be fabric so hopefully allows for more movement.

I found SS Vader for only 5 bucks more than that at one place...

See, this is another example of where the Clone Wars fraks the SW universe up and tramples all over the EU...

see the jetpack?

JT-12Jetpack.jpg

That's the Merr-Sonn JT-12 jetpack Jango Fett used in the Geonosis arena battle of AOTC. Oh yeah, and he had it custom made!

this is a quote from wikipedia:

He had two jetpacks, one of which was a Merr-Sonn JT-12 jetpack; the jetpack was personally manufactured for Jango Fett by Merr-Sonn Munitions prior to the Clone Wars. The other was a Z-6 jetpack manufactured by Mitrinomon Transports. The JT-12 was a compact jetpack featuring a warhead missile launcher. This model was similar to the more heavily-armored Mitrinomon Z-6 jetpack. The Mitrinomon Z-6 was a more common model of jetpack used by the Mandalorians. Many Mandalorians used this type of jetpack, including Jango Fett and Boba Fett. The jetpack included a targeting computer, flight gyros, and a missile/grapple launcher. Both models were favored by the elder Fett.

Here is a link to the page, it's under Weapons and Armor under Equipment toward the bottom of the page.

So now the clones get the jetpack that was made personally for Jango Fett???

Are they suggesting that it's the same one Jango had, or are they saying that all of a sudden these jetpacks are being mass-produced?

It's ridiculous IMO....

And the HS looks nothing like Morrison... although the likeness on the clone wars show is about as accurate... :lol

At least we know they have no excuse not to make Jango soon now that they already have one of the jetpacks... and perhaps a HS... :D

Well Jango did die in AotC. So its totally plausible they took the jetpack from his body, copied it, and made them. Its also possible EU stuff not in the films is utter crap and shouldn't be considered canon.

They dont look exactly the same to me. Who cares really its badass :rock

Maybe they raided the Death Watch factory on Mandalore?:dunno But who cares, FINALLY, a 1/6th Arena Jetpack:clap

It's been done before... even if the Medi Jango didn't come with one, the Hasbro Jango did... so what if the body sucks and the armor vest isn't as nice as the Medi, but the Hasbro HS is good and he comes with both jetpacks...

canon shmanon... there is no sound in space. explosions and lasers would not be heard... how does canon explain this? its all fun and games intended for ten year olds (or the spirit of the 10 year old within)...

regardless... i do not see this a a continuity error at all... Jango was the template so i am sure his gear was also an influence.
