Not soo happy now it looks like they have sent me someones return the arm looks like it has been broken and glued back on and there is a big chip in it. Also the foam part had no QC sticker on it and has clearly been taped up again, pic shortly

Well laudel, I am in the same boat as you.

After hearing about all this damage to Carnage, I opened my EX #071/500, and found a broken claw tip on the attachable arm. I started fearing the worst when I saw there was no QC sticker on the tape on mine either and sure enough I found the broken claw tip on the attachable arm.

This is either a return or someone tried to slip this by. As you can see from the pic, they did a sloppy job of trying to repair it. My guess is that when this was assembled at the factory in China, it might have been ok, but when they removed the arm to pack for shipping, the claw tip hit Carnage's other arm. These two points are REALLY close together. Those that have the statue assembled hopefully know what I am talking about.

I spoke with Destiny at SSC and she was really helpful. I am now in the returns loop.

I requested just a new arm if possible. The rest of the statue looks ok. I'll hear something in 5-7 business days.

This is just insane, I'm going to throw my Carnage if I get ____ like this off the Flex. I've never heard of people getting so many returns from every GOD DAMN piece that is being shipped out.

I wonder if there is any pattern to the damage? Mine was a low number EX - 071 and laudel had 055. I wonder if there were some assembly "issues" for some of the first pieces? Who knows? I just hope SSC learns from these fiascos (Spidey, Carnage, Thanos) and change things back to the way they were or change things so that they inspect the pieces in their warehouse. I am more than willing to wait an extra week or so, if that will give them enough time to do their own in-house QC so that we don't keep on getting damaged/broken products from them.

I haven't check my Psylocke but I better tonight, she might have half a ****, I mean this really bothers me that all my pieces off of Flex might come damaged after hearing that 1/3 members here on the boards is saying something has been returned and damage and has been resent as new to brand new customers getting their piece for the very first time.

Some of the masterpieces destroyed by shotty QC. They know it, they've said they are working on it but it seems to come in huge waves. For a while a few and then suddenly all over the map.

When it's isolated to Iron Gay, then that's ok, when it's spreading like the T-Virus that's another story.
