Still waiting on the Dewback, but the single Sergeant has arrived. Really nice upgrade over the older Sandtrooper, which years ago was the very first Hot Toys in my collection!

Still waiting on the Dewback, but the single Sergeant has arrived. Really nice upgrade over the older Sandtrooper, which years ago was the very first Hot Toys in my collection!

Great photos !! So what's the plan with your Sandies ? Did you get them seperate instead of the Deluxe ? Or 2x white pauldron with some other OG Sandtroopers ?

Like you I also started with the OG HT Sandtrooper. This Sandtrooper design is the definitive Stormtrooper imo. Love the helmet and the weathered "lived in universe" look which George did so well.

Thankyou! Absolutely, this design is peak Star Wars for me.
I ordered a deluxe pack with Dewback and Sergeant, and also this single Sergeant, with the plan to swap the pauldron on one of them to orange, have the orange pauldron trooper riding the Dewback with staff, and white pauldron Sergeant standing next to them inspecting the droid part, or something like that!

I have 2x orange OG Sandtroopers. One will probably be made into a black pauldron variant so I have all 3.

Think I will make a basic sand base for all of them so they are on one level. Hate having some on stands, beast without stand etc.

I personally prefer having no stands for a clean and uninterrupted look. All figures in my collection are posed unsupported with no stands, with the only one to ever fall in all these years being the floppy Present Toys Indiana Jones.
