When I faced my Batman PF forward it looks like he has to pee... and from other angles his right leg looks a bit deformed, but if you place him just right so his left profile is showing then he looks pretty cool. IMO..

Agree to disagree... I have never liked Bats from his right side. I think catwoman is the better all around sculpt/statue

@JAWS: Great setup! :rock

No kidding. I'm wondering how many people here would complain about the statue of David in their living room. "I want him to face forward, but his wiener is hanging out. If you turn him around, his butt is in everyone's face. This statue has limited display options."

I can't speak for everyone else, but when I'm talking about "limited display options", I'm thinking about what angle people will see when she's displayed in my living room.

I feel a little like the outcast for actually loving her primary pose. Catwoman is also one of my favorite characters and I actually feel like her pose very much captures the characters likeness.

Not alone my friend.

Not my set up :) I forgot which fellow freak this belongs to but I used the photo to show what angle I was talking about.

Many statues have limited display options... You can often only have them turned a little bit one way of the other depending on the sculpt... Catwoman is a bit more limited though.... I was making my point to the guy who though CW looked strange from other angles like something was wrong with the sculpt.

I love the pose also.... Very different.... Curious to see how it looks on display with the rest of my stuff.... Could look out of place... By herself though she is pretty much perfect.

I give SS credit for the pose on this one. So many of their pieces seem to be very similar in this regard but they really went for something different I feel with Catwoman and I think it paid of both in originality and in capturing the essence of the character.

Hey Jaws, was it you that bought the 100lb weight cap. Floating shelf? If so, where'd you get it? I'm thinking about going in that direction.

Got it at Lowes.... Cost about 100.00 after you get everything you need. Well worth it IMO... Think I am going to get another one for the other wall..... Sort of Sucks because I will lose poster space but I can get more statues then :)

Sweet man thanks, looks like they're about $50 by me, I might get two of them and turn it into a corner display.

I understand that if you don't want her backside to be her salient feature, you will have trouble choosing an angle. I do think the sweet spot will be somewhere between the head shot from the top of her order page and the line down the middle of her back. Both of the awkward looking angles presented have her face turned away from the viewer. My guess is that she will look spectacular posed anywhere along the arc where her eyes are clearly visible.

I don't see the huge outrage about the posing angle. Unless you are putting her on a pedestal in the middle of the room, chances are she will be viewed from pretty much one angle at all times...:dunno

Well I have been looking a lot, and I might make a battery powered motor on a spinning pedestal and use that for Catwoman. I mean the angle her whip follows would give it like momentum. Either for that or Wonder Woman, it's hard to decide.
