Honoring a contract has something to do with being a man, I reckon.

Or, you can listen to this guy.

I don't really care to read about what a woman "reckons" (I take it you're a cowgirl:wink1:) has to do with being a man, and as a woman you should be offended by the comment "man up" anyways. I'm sure you and all of your sorority sisters don't mind throwing your parents money away, but you should still have a little more pride, and be more reluctant to "bend over and take it." You are a girl.....right? I'll honor my contract, but if I'm allowed to make revisions to it instead of just giving my money away, why not? If you wanted to get technical the product page doesn't say, "product is subject to change" hence the contract is void once they don't deliver exactly what was advertised in the pics when I placed the order.

Yeah, that's pretty sneaky they weasel it on the bottom like that, but it means nothing because it's not on the bottom of the contract that you sign.

Well technically, and I'm not trying to start an arguement I'm just recalling things, when you order doesn't it say something like "By clicking here you're agreeing to the terms and conditions" blah blah blah. Something like that. So unless you read the terms and conditions, anything could be in there.

It basically says if you cancel you're going lose whatever deposit you gave them. It doesn't say anything about the product being subject to change on the actual page where you agree to the terms. I'm sure Sideshow payed some high-priced lawyer to make sure they were covered on all ends. It's not like I would go to court over a few dollars anyway. I don't think I'm going to end up canceling Catwoman anyways, but it'd be nice to know that if I wanted to get something else Sideshow would work with me and let me transfer my deposit to another order. They could even keep it as a NRD and just add it to another $40 NRD that I have on another order. Then if I decide to cancel that order I lose $80. I just think companies should do what they can (as long as it's reasonable) to make sure their customers are happy.

I dunno man, SSC does a pretty good job for customer service IMO. I have heard of them transferring multiple NRDs for people. Yes we pay a lot for these statues but they always are willing to give full refunds if you're not happy...that's a pretty damn forgiving policy.

I never said that they didn't. They've always given me great customer service. I was just talking about possibly contacting them to tranfer a NRD and people started talking about honor and manning up because I didn't want to just throw my deposit away.

Lol this thread really got derailed. Dude its your prerogative. If you want to try to get a refund I don't know why everyone is getting so upset (regardless of what the contract says). Companies will always bend their rules depending on the customer and situation. Give it a go, doesn't hurt.

Now how awesome is DAT ASS though?
