$750 for a VIP package is such a rip off. Just for some early access to some stuff and possible meet and greets with some people who could care less about you? What a waste of money. Nothing was that hard to get into at CV to make it worth that. It's just their way of charging you hundreds of dollars more and giving you only like $50 worth of stuff.

Anyone who buys a VIP pass has more money than sense.

Some people just have a passion and with it being star wars this is how they approach it.

I personally am not fortunate enough to pursue such endeavors but I don't knock those that can.

The $350 price is not that outrageous for the Knight badges, considering the front row in any panel portion alone. Especially seeing how a regular pass for the far overcrowded SDCC just spiked to $175!

Can't wait for CVI! 365 more days!

Celebration V Class of 2010

Now, that is a happy freak.

Never forget:

What a piece of crap!

^^ Notice the lack of crowds behind you and Chewie? Ah, I love the less crowdedness of Celebration. :yess:

One year to go! :woo

Yes, that is one of the high marks which catapults this convention above SDCC for me. Both are completely different beasts, but CV was an absolute blast from beginning to end for me.

Now, do keep me posted on whatever you hear about upgrading badges. Feel free to text me with any important information at any time. I really hope it's not true what was said about previous badge holders having dibs, because that would likely leave very few for those of us wishing to convert to the upgrade.

It's going to be a blast either way! But I do want a Knight badge.

Guess I should have done my homework. I know what I'll be doing tomorrow at noon...

Your regular badge will get you in the door, but if you want to take your Star Wars Celebration experience to the next level, you'll want to grab a VIP Package. With only a few available, they won't last very long. These extremely limited tickets will be on sale to the general public starting August 24, 2011, at 3:01 PM (ET). Celebration VI ticket holders and newsletter subscribers will have the first opportunity to purchase these tickets and gain special access, following a brief presale period for Celebration V VIP ticket holders. Be sure to sign up for the official Star Wars Celebration newsletter to get all the details on how to purchase at www.starwarscelebration.com/newsletter.

^^ Where'd you get that information?

The main Celebration site, under buy tickets! :lol

Along with this now, new prices, higher of course...

Lots of minor tweaks and changes in there, and yeah, many would say it is not worth it, etc. But I was the one who waited in the line for Mark Hamill for about four hours last year. So as they say, time is money, and for me to gain my four hours back and be able to see any other celebrities in the Celebration Stage, I'm still going for it...

This is me until tomorrow afternoon!
