The problem is, according to what I've read on Rebelscum, VIP ticketholders from last year get a chance to purchase starting at 10:00 am tomorrow. Whatever is left at 3:00, goes up for sale for the rest of us. Therein lies the problem.

I can imagine quite a few scenarios this morning. But I will say a couple of things about that. If that is the case, it should be mentioned on the new list of incentives to buyers that they would have an opportunity to be the first to buy next time, say for CVII.

The text for presale to previous VIP holders reads:

"Celebration VI ticket holders and newsletter subscribers will have the first opportunity to purchase these tickets and gain special access, following a brief presale period for Celebration V VIP ticket holders"

And to me, 10 AM - 3 PM is not brief. With a five hour window and no pressure to be first because your spot is held until 3 PM, pretty much ensures a massive sell out to those devotees.

Our only hope is that many were as disappointed as puss-face, the Master badge holder I ran into. Which then, even brings up another scenario for me. If the Masters were unhappy, they may be gunning for Knights this time as there was not a vast difference, except in price.

Oh, the humanity.

It's all numbers now. And I can only hope maybe 20-30% of previous VIP holders will either not be going or dropping the idea of the VIP badge. Guess I'll know tomorrow afternoon.

And I promise, I'm only going to sweat this until then. Then I will either have a VIP badge, or I won't. There will be no belly-aching because I will be going to CVI regardless and having an amazing time to boot.

Celebration V Class of 2010

Man that was a good time ! I can't wait !

Lots of minor tweaks and changes in there, and yeah, many would say it is not worth it, etc. But I was the one who waited in the line for Mark Hamill for about four hours last year. So as they say, time is money, and for me to gain my four hours back and be able to see any other celebrities in the Celebration Stage, I'm still going for it...

At the very least I did receive email about the sale just now after signing up for notifications just an hour ago. I wanted to be sure I was getting messages from them, even though I did buy my regular badge already.

Wonder how this will work. Login maybe? Since only those who have a regular badge can order...

It says to watch your inbox for a link to purchase. I just now got the email. Since we have to wait for an email tomorrow to order, I have even more of a bad feeling about this.
