I like my Scar, some people don't. I guess it's the same with Celtic, ecspecially if it's their favorite predator. But I haven't seen the Wolf Bio in person so I have nothing to compare it to.

Wolf is an amazing piece...I am glad I own it. My second favorite bio from Celtic. But the detail doesnt match. Wolf's is more worn out, damaged, wheres CP's is new. I'm repainting now. Going well actually.

I'm still stoked I own this thing.

From the looks and quality department, the Wolf is the best bio out, hands down. That's why I'm disappointed in how the AvP bios turned out. The Wolf was worth $300, these should've been alot less, but that's already a :horse, so that's all I'ma say. So keeps the pics coming, I'm not fully turned off yet

It certainly is, I paid $600 for my wolf last week and i pay it again happily now iv seen it. The detail is incredible, the sculpt is good... the paint is good and the lenses look great, they are metal mesh over a black background and it is a great effect.

Scar, well mine had an awfull paint job full of hairs and brush strokes etc so it was returned. and of course those paper lenses, they looked fine in pictures but awfull in person and i just couldn't look at it anymore. If i see one for about £120 il pick it up but i wouldn't pay any more...

And Celtic, well SS have gone one cheap step further and not botherd with lenses at all? didn't even paint them a different colour, if i couldn't live with cheap paper lenses im not sure i could live with none at all. It's a shame as the Celtic is one of my favourite bio's and i have no doubt that sideshows sculpt will be superb, as the wolf and scar were. Why they insist on ruining these pieces by skimping on the main focal point (the eye's) i don't know? especially after the success of the superb wolf bio. Sideshow have them all lined up, surely they can see for themselves how bad the recent bio's look next to the wolf so why do it? and why charge us the same ammount?!

Perhaps il change my mind after seeing one with fixed up lenses but i don't see why we should have to do anything after paying such alot of money for a supposed screen accurate piece.....

Here's my Celtic bio pics. I got # 222. I like it. I've seen people pay more for less so I'm not complaining about the quality or lack of for the price. I won't be mounting it on the wall, this thing is extremely heavy!!

looks good from a distance... :dunno

Yes, it does look pretty good from a distance. I'm thinking about coloring in the edges where the lens would meet the helmet, kind of a black outline around the eyes. I think this would make the lenses part not look so obvious that lenses were just painted on. I also thought about painting lenses on a thin peice of plastic that came from a clear plastic figure package. I made my first Celtic bio lenses out of that plastic with wire mesh behind it & it came out great! It won't be as easy this time because the lense will have to be cut almost perfect to fit in front of the solid lense already there. I'll give it a try though, nothing to lose. :monkey1

Those pics make it look better than the last pics. I can kind of see a different paint color on the lenses from those pics. It doesn't look so one color.

these photos troubles me even more...

It looks really unsymmetrical :monkey1

like a fan made. thats not cool :monkey2

It's fine. I repainted it....it looks good now. Pics later, but i'm glad I own an offcial one.

Repainted or not, it is still paint which cheapens the whole piece overall for me. Sideshow have now sculpted two nice bio's in scar and celtic and completely ruined them both by skimping on the lenses, such a silly decision as they were so close! I really don't understand what they are playing at, They really need someone new incharge of this line if it is to continue? I could live with the lousy paint job if they had lenses that reflected the screen used bio's but the last two have unfortunately been no where close.....

It was not on the stand right, that's why it looks unsymmetrical. The bio was leaning a little. Sorry for the sloppy pics.

Is there anyone who could put on more weathering on these to make it look like the promo pics? If so, I'd seriously consider getting one since so many people are cancelling
