Curiouser and curiouser. Are you going to Jedi-out the SSC Fett? That'd be cool to see. :rock2

Diggin Klaatu's armor. I can see where you think the outfit could be more baggy, but I think the addition of the armor ties everything together really well.

Yeah, the Sandtroopers are getting pricey. If someone was to cast the Marmit Sandy helmet, I would be interested in a couple.

I have a Marmit bucket that I "fastened" to a dragon head so it has a neck to it now, but that could be undone I suppose and modded for a balljoint neck plug.

Not something I could fit on my schedule at the moment, but I would donate the modded helmet for castation (made that up ;) ) if I could get my original back and a handful of casts.

Love your Klaatu!

That workbench is so full of awesomeness.

I am grateful for your helpful nature and history of pictures and info. I remember years (wow) ago being stuck in a hotel for work seeing fantastic 1/6 scale Star Wars customs and wishing I could do that.

(...and thanks for the comments and encouragement in Enaud's thread.)

Thanks. :hi5:

No, Im not doing anything to that Fett. I wish I had a better story, but my 2 year old son Nick decided that he wanted to "bring me" Boba Fett. He grabbed him off my display shelf and brought him to me in my office. In the process, he broke the right hand peg off. Ow well, no biggie. Its kinda funny actually. Boba is just on my bench waiting for the new hand to arrive from TA. :)

Im going to experiment with Klaatu's outfit. Not sure what I am going to do. I am going to finish painting and detailing the armor first. For some reason, I like him the way he is. It reminds me of the Kenner version. :)

Nice of you to offer up the Marmit helmet for casting. I have a cast of a Marmit helmet that I would offer up, just cant cast. The original would probably be a better option though.

Thanks man! I appreciate it.

In all honesty, your work the past couple of months has inspired me to revisit quite a few of my customs. Hell, the reason I am redoing Klaatu is because of you. :)

Your cantina outfits are sensational. I really like the shirt you gave Trinto. Man, that POTA stuff is sooooo good for SW customs. I really wish I could find some of it.

Keep up the good work man, you are raising the bar! :hi5:

Ow....

YOU SHOULD START YOUR OWN THREAD!!

:D

I touched up the armor and weathered everything. I also touched up the face a bit.

so awesome!
Keep in mind, I may not always be able to comment on your (and others) awesomeness, but I will try to at least lurk. I always get a big smile when I see you comment on my characters. :D

I fear the Dark Times may be coming and my workload might pick up. However I am grateful that I don't do the 90+ hour work weeks anymore.

Well thanks man, I feel the same way. Hope work doesnt get too crazy for you, but I understand how it goes sometimes. My super busy time is in the spring/summer. I try to make a few hours a week open for customs, but that doesnt always happen. Its tough when I get time to get much done with a 2 year old wanting to help. :)

good stuff chris.............:clap

The shelves are lovely, dark, and sleek,
But I have many sculpts to tweak,
And heads to paint before I sleep,
And heads to paint before I sleep.

mr frost may have just rolled over in his grave on that one...........:wink1:

Im redoing the Nikto gunner, Nysad. I am going to bulk his outfit up a bit so it fits a bit more loose like in the film.

Just starting, first is to get the collar to sit right...

It will look better when painted to match, just wanted to show you how I start to build outfits. :)

Thanks mate, nice to see you pop your head in here. I hope all is well.

The Jabba guys are my favorites, its fun to go back and improve them. I just wish I had a setup like Feroze does to display them.

Cheers mate! Maybe I should get T-shirts made? :D

We could also have Barry give us a poem, a ''1/6th customizers'' haiku. :)

Ow, you snagged all the Bossk part from TA last night? :gah: Those didnt last long.

I checked at 7am GMT for bossk parts and they were all gone, I reckon somebody in the US with time zones on their side grabbed all 6 of everything interesting!

They didn't break anything on the suit down. It was basically the entire suit for $39 and change. I got one for X-Wing pilot parts, not gonna lie. I'll use the vest, belt, and one leg thing, maybe the leg straps (but I can make that). I'll sell the rest and recoup what I can. I know it won't be much, but I'm impatient. I'll do up Luke, and if I'm happy I'll look out on ebay if the prices don't get stupid. SS will probably release their own soon enough.

Anyway, the Bossk stuff did go quick, but not piece by piece as it may seem.

yea it was like..
complete suit
head
body
hands...
feet
blaster
it looked like it would have been cheaper to buy a new one in box, compared to what they had the stuff parted out as..but i know they have to make back their money...
