Thanks. No, the Tomy helmet will not fit over the head. I have two Lando heads. I will use the one pictured for the times I want to display the figure with his helmet off. The second head I dremmelled down so the helmet will fit over it. The Tomy helmets are about 1/7th scale. They still look good though.

Very interesting. Lots of possibilities, not only for Lando but for other skiff guards etc.

I was thinking the exact same. How many guards have helmets of the similar base…3?

At least 3. With some modifications, the helmet could also be used for Fozec and Velken Tezeri.

I don't know. It seems Fozec, Velken, (& Nizuc Bek) have a different style helmet base…but might be worth a shot.

Nate- I'm playing with an idea that is still in it's experimental stage. Still have a few bugs to work out yet but so far it looks promising.

I have started working on my Lando Skiff guard. I am using a SSC Anakin tunic and part of the tabbard for the waist sash.

Here he is with the chest piece to give you guys the idea of what its going to look like. I added studs to it. Its obviously not painted/weathered up. I also need to add the shoulder straps.

I worked on the shoulder and wrist armor this afternoon. They are just being held in place temporarily until I get the straps for them made.

Nate, I think you are probably right going with a regular black shirt for Lando. I may go the same route, but I was just seeing what this looked like since it was already black. I know its not really that accurate, but I kinda like the looks of this fabric.

Looking forward to seeing some of you guys' pics of Lando.

I was beginning to run out of display shelf space. So, my project this weekend was to move the flatscreen etc, add LED lights and a couple of shelves to the middle section. I still plan on re-painting everything, but this is a preview of what it will look like in the near future.
