Thanks man. He might be small, but really hard to tell. He is such an oddly sized character. I have used the Bossk and Ackbar busts, I think they are 1/6th. The GG busts are hit and miss when it comes to true 1/6th scale.

Yes, I think the GG busts could possibly work. I thought of using the Snaggletooth for a custom.

I think the GG statue (those leaning/sitting at cantina ones) is 1/6, but again, it's a risk to buy it and have it arrive and find it's too small. I was lucky I resold the Ree Yees bust for a bit more than I paid, but I was really disappointed by the smallness. I know what you mean about the variation in scale - I was in comic store a while back where they displayed a bunch of busts and they did seem to vary.

I love the 1/6 Snaggletooth statue sitting at the bar but you'd think that would be an obvious character for SSC to do. But... for $200, and another 2-3 year wait? Hmm..:lol

That looks awesome! I have this on my desk to do as well. I bought a bunch of black, brown and blonde doll hair thinking I'd braid it (if I can figure that out.) Is that what you used or did you go with a wool type material?

Thanks. I used string/yarn for the hair/braids. I painted it and frayed it with a hobby knife to make it look like hair. I then used colored sewing thread for the braid wraps. I did add some paint to that as well.

You could go with doll hair, I just didn't go that route. I'd be curious to see how you would sort it out.

Kithaba and Queequeg are now off my workbench and on my display shelf. FINALLY!! :D

With my goal of getting some customs finished before I start new ones, next up will be Lando. Lando has been staring at me unfinished for months. He is pretty much done with only some minor futzes to the outfit, fixing armor attachments and completing his sandals/boots. I have been puting off doing the boots because they are pretty complicated. I think I now have some ideas on how to do them. Its time to get them sorted out once and for all. :

Looking good. Which brown shirt did you use again? Got my anakin tunic and had to get the mace windu pants. They are a bit darker, but lukes pants are harder to come by for a normal price.

Thanks. I made the brown shirt out of a second Anakin tunic. :)

Post went wrong....so removed this

I just took the sleeves off a second Anakin tunic, painted it brown and placed it over the tunic with sleeves. The armor will hide the seams when I am finished.

Damn you're creative. What type of paint did you use?

Thanks Robert. :) I used watered base acrylics thinned down so the fabric would not harden.

I decided to move these guys to my Jabba display, they are becoming two of my favorites....

Even though I don't love that Klaatu face sculpt (did you tweak it?,) that figure is just magic to behold. The attention to detail is just staggering.:clap
