While I was happy with my Duros, he was missing something. I had planned to go back and do some more work on the paint apps, but wasnt sure what to do. Then I saw Mort's PERFECT paint apps on his Duros, it all clicked. I was blown away.

So....

I drybrushed blue/grey paint all over to give it an "ashy", textured feel. I then touched up the eyes, sealed it with dullcoat and then added gloss to the eyes.

I love how you just dig out extremely useful parts lol, those hands will look great when painted up

I went digging through all my boxes today and found all my Bith band spare hands. Its time to upgrade my Weequay guards'. :yess:

Those duros (duroses?) look so incredible! Just amazing paint job. And so you're the one who snagged all the Bith hands from TA... :gah::lol! And what are you doing with your Bob Fett in the background there?

EDIT - have you posted pics of that Han Hoth before? I always love carefully looking through the backgrounds of your pics - it's like watching a SW movie - glimpses of cool tidbits!

Thanks man! I have posted pics of the Han Hoth, I will try to dig them out. If not, I will take some new ones. Im in the process of upgrading him a bit.

Nah, I didnt score the Bith hands from TA, they are just my extras that came with the three I bought. :) Like everyone else, I could use a left hand from Hammerhead. Im not sure why he didnt come with any extra lefts.

Theres been a greedo jumpsuit there for ages that I'm waiting for a resolution for :lol

I think my spare Greedo suit is going to be used to finish my Myo. I bought a few spares from TA a year or so ago. One went to Nabrun Leids and this one has been waiting for me to get off my arse and use it. :D

The left hammerhead hand was a hunt for me too, it is probably gonna be easier to buy the hot toys bespin luke tourniquet thing and whack it on your hammerhead and pretend he's an amputee :lol

Somebody should try cast them - they for the duros?

If anyone is looking for bith hands, its the kind of figure that gets parted out again and again on TA as its kinda current, drop them an e-mail to ask if they have any more to part out in future and when (think its a wednesday night update usually, its how I got the hammerhead left hand)

I was planning on using them on Duros. Although he is shown having white gloves on in ANH screen shots. Im not sure what I am going to do yet. The Hammerhead hands like you have would be ideal.

I'm sure theyre able to be cast - Dorgs made multiple hammerheads including their hands ages ago I remember, its just going to the effort is all. I have a spare lefty that can be cast (got it encase I was to double up on duros *guilty of overbuying on TA*) but I have none of the stuff or knowledge

The hands do work great for duros, but they are technically 1 finger short on each hand - I don't mind that, but if casting is to be worth it they would prob need a lot of people wanting them for duros, which with 1 finger short many would just prefer to give them gloves if they couldn't see past the error lol

Yes, I remember Mark's Hammerheads. I know you could cast them, but it would be a pain in the arse for someone. As you said, you would have to have quite a few people wanting them to make it worth someone's while. I will just figure something else out.

Here are the pics of that Han Hoth that was in the background that you wanted to see Squeak. Its a few years old and needs some touchups...

Hey no problem at all. :) Most of the outfit was just kitbashed together and painted up. The main piece is the jacket. The jacket is a Dragon Russian winter jacket turned around backwards and modded. I added the shoulder padding and collar was modded to fit the neck I sculpted onto the body. The belt was custom made and the boxes are from a Hasbro Imperial commander belt.

Here are some pics that may help....

Thnks mate all ordered :yess:

Guys, I have both the Hammerhead and Bith Hand sets.

I was planning give it a go casting them, and providing I can get them to work then I will try to make some available to those in need.

I am still unsure as to how to mold them to get best results ? Dorgs any chance you can lend your vast knowledge to help me out on that, maybe post pics of your molds or some advice ?

My initial thoughts was to mold the hands with source holes at the wrist and finger tips so the resin will flow right to the finger ends.
Only thing with that is that the ends will need some cleaning up.

Any ideas ?
