As for the general:

The chest plate and shoulder armor that has already been made by Chris could be re-used; it would just need different emblems. The main differences are the gauntlets, greaves and skirt straps (and the helmet). The rest of the outfit is red-brown pants and tunic, red cape and wolf fur.

But I'm getting ahead of myself; better concentrate on this first round of Max stuff

Man. he's elaborate. I'd have to do some modding to the structure of the chest plate, looks like there is a difference in form. But at least I have the basis.....

Know anyone who works with fur? Something to think about while we get our first set done.

Yer eyeballs, eh? I think I'll send a shipment of deco bits to Seb so he has them on hand for folks who want him to do it. So I think your peepers are safe for now.

Chris can you do the same for me with the decorative pieces, i have already contacted Seb and he said its ok with him.

Hey Seb, ever work with fur? It's a ways off, but for General Max we'll need some fur incorporated. Could use rabbit or synthetic if the real stuff bothers folks. Looks like a wolf skin. Not sure how to get the head in there....

Yeah, I'll just send him like 10 sets to start so he has them when he needs them. That will be the easiest way to handle it. Assuming that's cool with Seb!

I wonder if I make a wolf "skull" you could lay fur over it? Hmmmm......

a general maximus somewhere down the line would be great! i'd love it if you were able to sculpt a "general" maximus head too - looking more calm. but i know how many projects you have at the moment chris - it's probably a way off, but nice to have hope that it will happen at some point.

It's interesting to note that the guy who made that Maximus used a technique involving liquid latex to cover the ugly joints on the body; maybe it's something worth looking into as an alternative to hide the joints?
