i hope you manage to warm those cockles buddy. get well soon. and don't let any crazy deliverance style stuff happen out there in the woods while you're too weak to stop it.

Life, health, happiness!

Hopefully we can placate the power gods and appease the good health gods, too!

Good to know your still alive my friend. Hope you get to feeling better soon. I think Jan has just been Hell for a lot of people. I know could have lived with out it.
I would say plant toadstools around the posts to keep the goblins off of them. Keep plenty of tomato sauce, oatmeal and Honey in the house. ;)

Paul

I thought I saw Ned Beatty in his underwear down by the creek.....:google

Somebody needs to vent the fumes from their workspace.

Seriously though, I think we need to find you an electrician who can live on site in case something goes down.

Weird I just saw Ned Beatty in his underwear.................. must be contagious
!

Do you mix those ingredients together? Not so sure about adding the tomato sauce! :D

I thought the Goblins liked the toadstools?

Need to talk to you about trying out the flex resin.....

The fumes are the only thing keeping me going! :D

Actually, I need a tree surgeon to clear out the dangerous limbs.... if there are any left after this latest storm! Lot's of firewood to be had.

Hey Guys,

If you want to see the development of a head from start to finish take a look over in the Hugh Laurie thread.

I usually never show the early stages of a sculpt, but some folks have been requesting to see these stages, so this is a one time thing!!

Anyway, take a look....

Great progress shots on the Hugh head, looks bloody fantastic! I'm so excited about all these custom heads, so many cool customs on the way! :rock

Just checked you hompage...

I've had the opportunity to be lead designer and sculptor on projects for properties such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of theRings, Austin Powers, Jurassic Park, Independance Day, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Godzilla, the WWF , NASCAR, the NBA, the NFL, MLB, and so many others I can't keep track!

:horror Dont tell me you had sth to do with the WWF Hasbro line...

:stick:mwaha

WWF for Toy Biz

Did not know they made figures of them too... Thought they only had WCW or are we talking about WWF-animals instead of WWF-wrestling... :duh

Just recognized that I must have tons of your figures... Kenner Batman, Star Wars this was exactly my time... Did you make the GB from Kenner too? (Guess not as you would have already mentioned)

You're right..... Toy Biz was WCW.... Play by Play and Bradford Exchange were WWF product. Keep in mind I've been doing this so long that it all blends together after a while! I'm not a huge wrestling fan so it's tough for me to keep track.

I did 6 or 7 wrestler figure (6" I think) for Toy Biz and 9 or 10 wrestler "tops" for some kind of game. They were spinning top games pieces in the likeness of various wrestlers. What I most remember about that job was the sweet check I got for it! I got around 10 grand for that and they sent the check to the wrong address..... :horror Eventually got a new one, but that was a nail biter for a few days.:D

No GB for Kenner.... when was that line out, 1980's? First figures I ever did were for the awful Kevin Costner film, Robin Hood, King of Thieves. We borrowed parts from old figures, but I did sculpt some new pieces for it. That would have been about 1991, maybe?

Did a lot of stuff for them like Nerf guns, etc. The Jurassic Park figures were done before they even cast the movie..... which is why the Nedry figure looks nothing like Wayne Knight. Started in on Star Wars sometime mid to late 90's when they brought out the new lines. Batman was in the mix.... did a few pieces for Aliens, too. And the Starting lineup figs, can't forget those. Did a few girls toys, lots of forgetable stuff. In those days, they divided the company up into 2 divisions, Boys Toys and Girls Toys. We did mostly Boys Toys but did cross over sometimes. So much I can't recall at the moment.

Funny thing was, I never intended to follow in Dad's footsteps, but he was head of R&D at Kenner through the 1960's. Met my Mom there! So, I'm a Kenner product I guess. But I lost my value because they took me out of the box!:D

Wow Chris that's amazing how you sculpt your heads. Sorry about the bad spiderwick ref. Just watched it with the kids again. Say send me an e-mail @
[email protected]

And I'll give you my cell. That would be easier than playing e-mail tag. Besides phone tag is much more fun.

Ya know, I didn't make the reference connection. Funny you should mention Spiderwick. A friend of mine (fellow sculptor who used to work for me) is a friend of Tony Diterlizzi!

I
'll email you when my brain clears a bit.
