how far along is your ray stantz head chris??

He's roughed and awaiting his turn. As you may have guessed by now, I'm setting things up in stages, sort of assembly line style. I make some roughs, line them up and proceed through them. The rough stage is critica to my technique. That's where most of the important decisions are made, size is established, measurements are made, likeness is developed. It's not fit to show at this stage, but it's really the most important to me.

Then comes the slow and laborious refinement into something that others would recognize as the subject.

Yep! :D Sure am and really looking forward to him. I've been wanting to sculpt him for a long time.

awesome , me and another member were discussing making a shawshank figure before. Since Morgan never seems to really age the sculpt could be used for alot of different flicks !.
I look forward to seeing it !. :D

Woohoooo!!! :D

Hi Chris!!!
Just to let you know that I received you Lee Majors sculpt this morning! Thanks for the bonus one! You' really didn't have to, but I really appreciate it!!! :D

For all of you guys who've seen the prototype, don't let the pictures fool you! It's not just good! It's really outstanding! I can't wait until I have less 1:1 work to do to paint it! This one's gonna be awesome!

And for those still waiting for one of Chris' HS, don't worry, it's worth waiting!!!!

Now, it's a pity you can't sell Lee anymore! I was thinking about it. Why don't you try and contact BionicJoe and agree with him for an exclusivity limited in time? One of my friend makes custom MOTUs for a retailer in Paris. The shop has a one year exclusivity, then he is allowed to sell them directly! I think you should try and come to an agreement with him because it's really a shame others can't buy it!

Thanks again Master Howes!!! :D

Well, I just got them this morning, so you'll have to wait a little! Especially since I want the painting to be perfect! A head like that deserves it :D

I plan on using the 2 HS for 6 million dollar man customs! The first will probably be Steve Austin dressed in Jeans or a track suit. The second one will be modified with longer hair and a moustache to mimic his look in the later seasons. But I don't know yet what suit he'll be wearing! :D

Anzik, I'd be down with a 6 Mill $ Man!! I've got one in the works with tan leisure suit

Hey guys!

SorryI haven't been around for a week or so. I got caught up in some very important projects that have a very rapidly approaching deadline. One client needs the product shipped from China in time for a giveaway at an event in June, so we've been working nonstop to make sure it happens in time!

Anyway, what I did with Bionic Joe, since I couldn't get him to reply civilly at one point to work out out our misunderstanding, was to go ahead and unilaterally offer him a standard 6 month period of exclusivity. That was about 6 weeks ago (I'll have to check and see) so in about 4 1/2 months I will be free to sell them. Despite his counterfeiting of my Joker and the Mad Max I did for Toyadventurer, I'm sticking to my word.

So, ask me about Lee Majors in late summer! :D

Getting ready to post a few updates.... just wanted to give a heads up. Got to get my thoughts together, do a couple things and take some photos....

I'll post them here as well as in the individual threads.

GREAT NEWS Chris. Sorry you had a misunderstanding with Bionic Joe. So far I'm glad to say nearly all folks I've dealt with have been great.

Can't wait to see future anouncements

Here is the final version of Summer Glau as River Tam. The Regular and Battle Damaged Cameron will follow shortly now that this one is wrapped up.

I've added a page to purchase the 4 different Summer Glau heads to my Head Sculpt webpage. You can access it here:

This new streamlined purchase system seems to be working out really well so far!
