^Great shots :)

Thanks.

For anybody interested, here's my unboxing and initial impressions. This piece came out great. So much better in person than the photos thus far would suggest. I hope I was able to demonstrate this.

Finally, a nice long detailed review. I skimmed it real quick, will watch the whole thing in a little bit.

Thank you, much appreciated!

Great job and superb review in full depth!!! Loved how you did this! Real pro! clap: clap

Received mine today. Truly satisfied with him! And even next to Keaton (which is wayyy too tall btw), this "tiny" one feels good nevertheless. Great job SSC on the details!

My only grip is the Exclusive... feels pretty useless IMO as you need to remove the head to reach the switch... won't work with my other statues that are remote control... :(

Thanks, bud. Appreciate the comments.

This piece is outstanding, and I'm glad he looks good even next to Keaton. Thanks for that pic.

I agree with your sentiments on the EX. Realistically, if you have display lights, you need not turn the eyes on. They are a vibrant blue anyways. But I don't own many light ups... Actually none... So I'm biased on the other end of the spectrum.

I think it turned out well. Congrats to those who got him.

Man, my broadband connection sucks due to the weather and I can't get to make the reviews and unboxing vids play seamlessly.

Apologies if mentioned already, but are the protruding armor plates on his suit (like on his spine, abdominals) and his gauntlet blades made of a more bendy material to avoid breakage?

This is the shot I've been waiting for. They look great next two each other.

Going by the video, parts on the abdomen, chest, legs, etc are translucent which indicates some sort of plastic material.. not sure about the spine area. I think he mentioned the spine was a little delicate.

From what I can tell, no. They appear to be made of polystone (back armour and most armour plates) and/or an acrylic (I think; abdomen, and translucent areas on legs and chest plate). A very flat finish, reminiscent of the Keaton PF. Although I suggest that the plates are delicate, I think they're likely to stand up okay. I just wouldn't test it.

Look really good, my favorite TDK head sculpt so far. Too bad the figure is undersized, looks on pair or slightly smaller than the HT TDK Batman, wich is already way too small for a 1/4 scale. Also the belt need to go a bit down.

Still waiting for my paiment plan to finish, two more months :impatient:

Judging by the nice video review on the previous page, I think overall the sculpt and the proportions are better than the HT QS. I've bought and sold that one twice. Couldn't get past the too narrow head, too broad shoulders, too round chest, too big gauntlets, too small hands, too thin waist, too big belt and too big feet.

From some angles, though, the pose on the SSC does not work at all for me. I think it looks good seen with the torso facing the eye only (kind of profile view). And I wish the belt could be pushed further down, as it's supposed to be (see marks on the crotch piece).

Other than that and the cape, for paint apps, pose(s) and accessories, HT is the winner.

Anyway, I like it but not enough to spend the money (€490 here).

Yeah I had to mod my 1/4 scale HT bats to get it to look right to me. Took a while. This statue seems pretty dead on on most everything....but as you said the pose just doesn't kinda work from some angles. Oh well.

Yeah, agreed about the certain angles think. That always bugs me, when a statue doesn't look good complete 60 but only at some angles. He looks like he leans back to far, or is too upright, with the front pose, the one where he's looking towards the right (his left) is the best, or the opposite with the cape facing us looks good too, but of course we want to see the suit. Actually, I think anything but the direct front pose seems to work, I actually might get this :lol Not sure if I want to sell the HT one though, I do like both.
