100, and I was even tooling around with the idea of a COA. Any thoughts?

haha, a COA sounds interesting...although I do not think it is necessary. 1/6 customizers should be able to immediately know that it is Andy's sculpt and we are the lucky fools who have it :monkey5 :rock

I was thinking more about the owners in the unfortunate event that recasters get a hold of one. You could at least say it's not an original.

Wouldnt be a bad idea, with 100 heads floating around out there, it will be highly likely that a recasting douche bag ^^^^^^^ will get a hold of one.

You should number them too. I want number 13.

Wofford, I think a COA is a damn good idea. As long as it does not cause you or Andy to much extra trouble.

BTW: On a personal note I got my True Type body today for Bale! :rock

A nice notion, but in this instance, wouldn't a Andy be the manufacturer of sorts and a COA need to be signed by him to verify anyone with one has one produced under his authority? Not sure what his thoughts are on that.

Well if Andy doesnt want to sign 100 COA, you could PM me the list of buyers woofard and I will send everyone a pic of my balls. That would be the best COA in the history of COAs:rock

Unfortunately I did not have time to do any tweaking, so you'll be getting the same sculpt seen in previous pics.

I think the sculpt is gorgeous. Just curious what parts you would've tweaked or weren't 100% satisfied with Andy?

Even though I didn't order one (money issues, not lack of wanting), I think a COA would be a good idea to protect both Andy and Wofford from recasters. It would also make it necessary to be resold with them. Without one, a recaster is quickly caught.

I know it would be a lot more work, but since recasting is a problem, its the best solution to protect against it.

I dont think it would stop recasting, if someone wants to make casts and sell them on ebay there is nothing stopping them. A COA is not gonna stop anyone, all it will do is give those that bought direct from woffard proof of authenticity.

Yup, can't stop recasting, and even a talented graphic artist could fake the COA for auctions. It's the world we live in, honesty and integrity are sorely lacking with more and more people.

I still think it is a good idea. Those too lazy to fake a good COA can be caught and reported to ebay (and maybe law enforcement). The best way to stop recasting, is to crack down on it as hard as possible.

Lonnie Hale's method is to keep making originals available, to sell on eBay right where the recasters do, and to advertise by saying, "Why buy a crappy recast when you can have the original?"

Recasting is the bane of the customizing and GK hobby, and it starts when a recaster gets ahold of an original. I think one very good way to stop the recasting of this particular head is for those of us who buy it not to let it out of our hands.

Im a idiot i missed this, my bad. I know there is not much chance of getting and won't get a recast but if anyone ever has one avialable i happly take it off your hands.

You guys are really very lucky to get this, i don't know if your aware of the Feng studio head but an originalof that has been going for crazy onet on ebay.

He could sign it if he'd like, but I could sign it as being commissioned from my private collection.
