Re: Christopher Reeve Superman PF

I think this shot shows the back arch and how it is designed to give this a sense of motion.

I am not getting this, if I was to get a Superman it would be the comic PF (still hoping for him actually), BUT I think this is amazing.

Re: Christopher Reeve Superman PF

Yeah the base is different, I think it's cool but I see JAWS' POV too he's like 'the dam broke but I don't GAF' lol. At 30" this thing is gonna be like WOW

Still looks good though. I would have considered a Daily Planet base with this pose. As for the hight this is going to be a HOLY **** piece... Honestly 10 inches taller then GL, Ivy, and Deadpool.... It is going to be HUGE... Maybe tippy though.

Re: Christopher Reeve Superman PF

I was going to display this next to the MOS PF but this is way bigger and probably won't look right.

Re: Christopher Reeve Superman PF

I'll probably order from a UK supplier so it won't be an ex. With Fp there is no deposit, just get charged when ships so I can still cancel if I want to. I went with the dc Ex straight from SS as the ex was a different head sculpt. I can live without a piece of green glass.

Re: Christopher Reeve Superman PF

I'm not sure how he is going to attach to the base. If its just a peg in his foot I would think that would put a lot of weight on the leg and might break easily. It doesn't look like a very sturdy piece.

Re: Christopher Reeve Superman PF

That water...:(....I can hear it now..they have no more replacements on the water.

Re: Christopher Reeve Superman PF

Does not do the iconic film legend justice at all, easy pass.

Re: Christopher Reeve Superman PF

I'm glad they didn't go with the same boring pose, this is much nicer. I'm underwhelmed with the base's base (ha) but hell, I'm not ordering it anyways. Looks nice though.

Re: Christopher Reeve Superman PF

Not wowed... will think this one through. Might just stick to the comic pf

I am kind of wondering if that whole wedge comes out of the base and the foot is secured a little better to that chunk.... Otherwise I agree with you this could be a big time weak point.

Re: Christopher Reeve Superman PF

That pose is absolutely, fundamentally WRONG for a Christopher Reeve Superman.

What a baffling "creative" decision. It completely ruins would should have been a legendary item.

Re: Christopher Reeve Superman PF

Not a huge fan of this piece (or the movies for that matter), but these reveal pics are much better than the teaser. It's just an ok piece, in my opinion...nothing out of this world. Congrats to all lovers of the original movies who are getting this.
