I said that I hoped that the full reveal would put what we had already seen of the pose into context & that with the base it would make this statue look great and, for me, it has truly delivered what I had dearly hoped for.
The Ex was somewhat predictable & quite disappointing but I still like it so I'll definitely be pre-ordering this direct from Sideshow.
I'm now just hopeful that the reason they haven't gone for a smiling portrait is because once this beauty of a piece sells like they know it's going to that Sideshow then plan on giving us a Christopher Reeve Clark Kent Premium Format, complete with a smile, to accompany this. And when they do I just hope they don't go for a 'shirt ripped open revealing the S' pose but instead just give us a 100% classic Christopher Reeve Clark Kent without a hint of his Super alter ego.

Yeah like the dam itself be the base. Wouldve rocked. Holy **** ive been reading this thing all day and still havent caught up. Yes the hands look a little small and I know I hate the EX (would've been cooler if it were JUST the crystal without the stupid base that Spidey pointed out looks more like the Comic PF base). I dont mind the pose to be honest. I think he looks pretty cool man like I can picture him just like dart at mach speed to go get something to stop it or gain the distance needed to use his breath freeze the whole thing. I love how Supes looks so determined and focused like he knows exactly what the fvck needs to be done. The only thing that bugs me now is his legs now. Lol I think ill pick him up but im still sure. I love it though. It just looks so BOSS

Im going to go ask SS Alex if I can remove the crystal from its gay base. Then im probably a lock. Okay just looked at base on computer and I see what you all mean. Seriously weird man lol seriously weird. It definitely makes him look like a massive DC chess piece

late to the party but I'm surprised to find that with the gallery up, I'm kind of digging this piece a bit more. Mostly the costuming. But man that price...woo just keeps on getting higher huh? wonder if they'll be donating some of the proceeds to the Reeve foundation like HT did?

My only complaint with this right nowis that the arms and hands, especially the hands, still look a little small to me. That and I think that wire cape will be a ***** to pose.

Late to the convo due to working the late shift today. I think this looks great, far better then the preview. Definite order for me, and i actually like the EX but only because i don't need an EX with this guy. So, a little thing like the crystal is pretty cool.

I am suggesting that if fans were asked to vote on their choice of pose for this pf, this would not even be in the top 5.
And what's really frustrating for some of us is that the likelyhood of another version is slim to none.
At least I can get one commissioned.
