I'm fairly confident that the emblem issue is primarily a combination of much needed futzing (the collar is most definitely pulled up and to the left) and lens distortion. Same goes for needing to futz the belt/trunks. Aside from that, looks like the prototype to me, which to me isn't a disaster by any stretch, just a bit off likeness wise. I personally like the pose and the dam base, but they could've went with a crystal fortress of solitude style thing for the bottom base instead of the black "chess piece".

I believe this may be true... I gotta believe that is true... If not then I feel for those of you that ordered this... But even if you made the S perfect there is just too many problems with this statue. Move over Rambo PF you have some competition.

this is just a theory but I believe SS purposedly delayed Sinestro to coincide with the release of this hideous thing..Sinestro came out good so it will overshadow this release a little bit or will make us feel that yeah SS still produce good quality stuff..maybe this is just another miss..but still! very unacceptable! Especially for us international collectors who have no choice but to preorder these things and we cannot return them easily.

Bruce my man... I hope this turns out to be bad pics and just some needed futzing with the S. I think some of it are bad photos... Lots of flash and poor quality in those pics. I will never be sold on the pose or the body sculpt but I hope it's just bad pics that we are seeing for those of you waiting to get this guy.

I hope once we see some nice HD photos it looks much better too. The first in hand pics in every thread always seem to be from a cell phone camera from 2004.

I don't know what else you guys were expecting honestly. The statue looked pretty horrible as a prototype, of course it would look worse in production!

Some bad pics there perhaps, I think he looks pretty close to the proto from these pics tho and I'm happy with the proto so I'm hoping mine arrives nice.

Hey, no need to bash Rambo with that comparison. Rambo is a fine collectible to own (in comparison).

That S is embarrasing. You couldn't put it on display like that. Would be the butt of jokes.

Pretty much what some of us were begging them to fix though. This should have been such a home run like Keaton. Its not even a single. More like getting hit in the nads by a pitch.

Actually, the head is completely out of proportion. Huge head, small body. Seems like they put a 1:4 head on one of their crappy 1:6 bodies. Proto was bad, but it wasn't THIS bad imho.

I think the sculpt looks really good considering the flash. The logo on his chest...meh....but overall not bad.

That is apalling. Particularly the pose they've gone for and the head sculpt. Dear me, that head sculpt. Looks like the creepy child catcher version of Clark Kent/Kal-El come down with a bad case of Columbo eye.
