Well, you have to admit it is a pretty poor attempt at "veins" for otherwise excellent paint apps, if that is truly what those marks are supposed to be. Seems rather odd.

Sure, it looked weird at first, but it takes two seconds to realize they're just veins by looking at other marks like that all over the gums. The fact that you can read a sort of "HI" on most busts just means that those "artist" found in that pattern a quick tecnique for that spot. Just like "V" on the right side and other marks on the left.

No chance that is just a random painted "vein" so perfectly written to say HI right exactly in the front when there is nothing else around it. If it was just on one of mine I would say maybe, but on both and others as well, they can't get any 2 to look alike when they do "random" patterns unless they mean to. This has to be intentional, by CC or some jokers at the factory.

Its right in the very front, between the 2 bottom teeth. I don't have my camera card handy or I would post both pics of mine.

Not denying you/yours. Just saying mine...very front, between the 2 bottom teeth...would be more of a y, than a hi.

Sadly, while busting out the maglite to look for it, I found some back teeth that were broken and redone...one better than the other.

Yea, I thought one HI was a one off joke or something, but when my second had the same thing, and with larger letters yet exactly the same it made me wonder what was going on. Multiple other have posted they have it also, yours is the first to not have it.

Not sure what Vick is smoking thinking this is just random. It looks terrible as a fake "vein" and like nothing else in the mouth. Honestly it isn't a big deal either way, but just curious what the story is or if there even is one.

Anyone with half a brain can tell the difference between ones in your rather poor looking and obnoxiously large shots compared with mine. No painter in their right mind is painting something like that trying to pass it off as looking like a vein, maybe one time on one bust, but not this many. Plus the location is a dead giveaway, dead front and center, facing outward like its meant to be read. Stop acting like you know anything to the contrary, we don't know the real story yet. I am curious to hear what CC has to say.

Nope, that's what an idiot whould think. A person with half a brain would probably realize that differences beetween your pics and mine are due to cameras and lighting.

Shouldn't really answer, but can't unsee how this has turned into a legit joke at this point; a guy thinks Chronicle Collectibles and chinese workers left secret english messages and jokes on 1K busts, and repeatedly calls crazy and all sort of names other people.
Too bad there's only 300 pieces really, wish more people could join this and judge by themselves.

P.S. Oh, if you were able to read and speak other languages i would have gladly invited you to my usually frequented boards.

You obviously have nothing constructive to add so feel free to return to your "regular" boards, I wouldn't go anywhere that has such low standards anyway.

Design Toscano sells a life sized Velociraptor. Very similar to this. Price is about the same on eBay. not a bad deal if you have the space. But I believe you can also leave it outside as a garden decoration.

This is one of the reasons why no picture or video could do this piece justice, it's just so big that will always look deformed if not photographed from far and then zoomed. And still look deformed in some way.

That bust is from Howard S and pre-dates the chronicle piece by years. It has a longer neck than the chronicle piece.
