Well, that sucks considering HCG seems to just want to import the Tomensuke version (in limited quantities) and sell it for about three times that price point. They haven't even given us an inkling on if they're going to release their own version of the original film's blaster. With the new film coming out next Thursday, you'd think they strike while the iron is hot but then again this is HCG. So who knows. We all know the licensing with the original film is a goddamn cluster**** but that only goes so far when it comes down to people making money and for the life of me, I'll never understand why **** like that can't get ironed out among parties so products can get sold associated with a property or franchise. Especially, with a sequel (that is getting beaucoup praise) getting ready to drop and interest spiking.
