The figure and base card will be identical, I think it's just the sticker and the CIV back card (similar to the Target Clone Trooper) will not be included either. This will still be an exclusive figure though, just probably not as limited as the CIV version, I believe it's like SSC's non-Attendee practice, which is good cuz just cuz we can't fork over the ammount it takes to go to Celebration and SDCC, doesn't mean we're not as big, if not bigger, fans than some who can go, my wallet doesn't equaly my Star Wars passion, if it did, I'd be almost as rich as Lucas.

Either way I picked one up. I don't care about the con sticker, I just want to try and pick up the McQuarrie figures, which along with the vintage-style figs are the only things I'm buying from the toy line anymore. This marks my first McQuarrie figure since I can't find Boba or the stormtrooper anywhere. (Luckily I do have the original release McQ stormtrooper, so that's something.)

My understanding is, this is a Hasbro Toy Shop Exclusive with a CIV and a Website version, but that they won't be offered in waves of regular figures, only through the HTS website now or for those attending CIV. Don't count on that, that's just my assumption based on what's availalbe to read about that I've come accross.

As for the other McQuarries, keep a sharp eye on HasbroToyShop.com for when they get em, though they seem to sell out fast. I gave up and got them off eBay, the best bet I think, the original Stormtrooper was nowhere to be found up here in MA when it was released. Boba is the nicest one so far, but I really look forward to Vader and the Obi-Yoda 2-Pack.

Excellent - thanks for the clarification - that's the way I understood it as well and it seems to make the most sense.

I'll keep an eye out for the others on HTS as well. Boba's at the top of my list and he looks awesome. I just hate to resort to the ebay prices until I must. I got lucky with the original McQ stormtrooper - only saw one at retail ever.

I'm guessing SW.com will follow suite with the droids in the near future so I'm keeping my eyes open there as well.

Then as long as I get creepy Chewie, Vader and that snowtrooper, I'll be pretty happy.

I got my order in with the code. I also found the Boba Fett at TRU yesterday so I'm well on my way to completing this line. Just need to hunt down a Stormtrooper and hopefully the droids will go up for order too. I hope getting the SDCC exclusives will be easier than last year. The line was always huge! I just happened to show up right when they got more stock so I was able to just walk right up and get my 501st. They only have, what?, 20 different exclusives this year at SDCC?

I'm still looking for Boba Fett, found the entire wave yesterday and bought some along with the Order 66 figures which were on sale for $6.99 at Target, but no Concept Boba among them.

The droids will be hardest to get as they are GenCon's to do with as they please and NOT Hasbro's. Chewbacca is out though apparently as someone is selling him in hand on eBay. And I've decided Ill just suck it up and not worry about the no discount on my Luke, by time it ships I should have another paycheck anyway.

Thats what I did... they emailed me back and canceled my first order... saved me about $8.

That's why I'm buying them. I'm a huge McQuarrie fan...I love that they're making figures.

And does anyone still think they can make real money selling Hasbro figures on ebay?

BTW Who here ONLY collects something if it's worth something latter? If so, you suck, that's that. You don't care and you're only after money.
