That is going to be awesome, attached to the front of the bike! Show some images of it so far!

I haven't finished the top yet (which is the most important part and will make or break it, right?). I have managed to modify a one sixth scale trophy making it slimmer and including a black base (as it is in the movie). The top will be the key though...

Very true! Looks really nice. Is the Number 1 going to be changed to Number 2, I should probably look it up again but did they not steal Second Place's?

Yep, you are absolutely right! I will have to mod that. I have another trophy that has no markings, but is much wider so I had a choice on which one to use. This one had a "1" on front and back. I may choose to cover it, and turn it sideways because there are no markings on the sides. Either way, it will be fruitless unless I nail the top...if you find a picture, please post!

Wow, great, thanks! So it looks like its silver with a black base, right? Or is it silver all the way down? I'll keep the black for now. No markings on the stem, and that motorcyle rider in the top..well here goes...

No worries! Yeah, I think the very bottom towards the D on Wild is black and the rest is Silver. That Motorcycle Rider will take some time to get right for sure!

Hey Joel,

Your pics really helped, and made me rethink my approach to Marlon's trophy! The stem on my previous one was too wide, and that "1" just didn't fit. I decided to craft one up myself using an old 1/6 vase base, a small piece of aluminum tubing, and a motorcycle race charm. I think it did the trick! I think I'm as close to where I'm going to get with it and I'm happy with the turn out...here are some pics.

That looks insane Geronimo! The detail looks all there and the charm works a treat and is very close to how the original one looked. No worries at all! Glad they helped make that classic looking accessory!

Hey Joel (and DA!)...many thanks for your comments, insight and support. I'm not going to post any more Marlon pics on this thread! Through all the iterations of this guy, I put both of you through the ringer several times...

I've really had fun with him though, and really recommend you both pick one up. I've got one more prop coming in the mail and plan to post some final pics on a thread of its own....I'll post the link when completely done with the dio...
