You know, DA, I never saw that movie for some reason...I've heard the song a million times (classic by Gene Pitney) but never saw the actual movie. Thanks for reminding me of it. I need to rent it and see it!

It's one of my favorites & nice touch with the video :)

Boy, it's got Lee Marvin in it too! Thanks DA!

Stewart plays a veteran Senator who returns to the western town of Shinbone-- where he launched his political career years earlier-- to attend the funeral of an old friend (John Wayne). Through flashbacks, we learn the truth about the murder of the titular town bully (Lee Marvin). Though it opened to harsh reviews, John Ford’s film found a loyal cult following in years to come, and is considered a harmonious combination of three powerhouse talents. Stewart voluntarily relinquished top billing to Wayne, a gesture the only slightly older actor very much appreciated.

Too bad the little review there tells the whole movie. :slap It's still one to watch though cause of the performances by Wayne, Stewart, & Marvin. Great chemistry between them all and very entertaining. They just can't make movies like that anymore & the Hollywood stars of the past are superior to what we have on the screen today.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you're doing with Jimmy as of late...I've been looking back at the great pics of him (and Duke as well!) on this thread!

Cheers! I am basically fully re-doing the New York and East of Eden versions. Giant and Rebel are good for the time being :D

Why do I feel I'm going to be left in the back of the class? Seems like old times...

Well, I'm a Yankee, but not a Yankee fan...I'm in the heartland, where it's currently 100 degrees...mighty hot in Chicago!

Last photo, Giant and Rebel are done, New York is waiting on new clothing. Thought I would also show a Wild One 1:1 Hat I picked up made by BaronHats.com

The quality is amazing and looks great on display. I think they RRP on the site for 385USD and 75 we're made.
