Good catch! That's definitely a very good rendition of McQueen; I got the $15 version offered on Ebay a while back though..is it worth the extra money ($60 vs. $15 unpainted)? Here is the Ebay version that I painted up:

No it's Rock Hudson as the Lone Ranger. If you read the post that is what the sculptor said. I think it is a dead ringer for Hudson.

You're right! I agree, it does look like Hudson. He would make a good pairing with a "Duke" sculpt. They did a picture together didn't they? Or he could be paired with a Jim Nabors sculpt

You're probably the only one on this thread (other than me) who understands that one...that's cause you're old! Gotta admit that if you pair a Nabors and Hudson sculpt, it would make for a pretty interesting diorama!

The interesting thing is, if you would pair up that Hudson sculpt with Doris Day, absolutely Nothing would happen!

Geronimo, your Bullitt is great!!! So keeping in the spirit, here is another McQueen as Josh Randall in Dead or Alive. This is the Triad Toys figure, but I did a body mod, so he is more in scale with John Wayne & Clint Eastwood. Also, The Duke was in a movie with Rock Hudson called The Undefeated, which takes place at the end of the Civil War. I don't even know what to say about Roc & Gomer Pyle, but I'm sure they had a lot in common... Anyways, here are my pics of another tough guy.

Oh Yeah! Josh Randall!! Fabulous! Your McQueen looks really good...I think I like him as Josh Randall even more than I did in Bullitt. Maybe it's that sawed off shotgun that makes him even tougher.

I like the pic of your three figures together. When you get a chance, can you post a color shot (or shots) of them together? Three nice looking figures!

Yes, "The Undefeated" that was the pic with Duke and Rock Hudson...I remember seeing that one a long time ago....lets leave Gomer and Rock to another thread...

I think Triad did a great job on this figure, but their bodies are huge. When I originally took him out of the box he towered over my Duke. I cannot have that since, McQueen was about 5'8'' or 9'' and John Wayne was 6'4''. I did a leg mod & now he looks great at the correct height. I will take some more pics of the trio tomorrow and post them for you in color.

I love to have my figures in scale as much as possible and do what I can to adjust them. My Clint could be a little taller, but I think it looks close enough for now. I think McQueen is right on and I love that shotgun he has.

I love all your pics, but most especially this one...your figures sure look good! You have done a nice job with them...where did you get Duke's Searchers outfit? Are they from Battlefield Toys? I know that they have a lot of good western and Civil War stuff...

Those three figures look just great together. Nice job on the height adjustment. Now, I really wish they all had made a film together, wouldn't that have been something!
