Thank you DA! :) I am glad you like it! Sure, basically what it consists of, it is the really rare Subway Toys Jack Nicholson The Shining figure.

I changed out the jeans for some slimmer fitting ones, changed the hands with more realistic ones, added a custom glass and I did the Head Sculpt!

Possibly my favourite film! :)

I supplied Joe Turner who is on here and Facebook who does decals with the image of the carpet and he did a great job making a full decal of it! Settee off of eBay which is very accurate and does the job perfectly! Axe is wood and metal from the Subway Toys figure and the painting is from the 1989 Batman film from when I use to have my Nicholson Joker displayed like the museum scene!

I agree also! Jack's clothing is really right on the mark, and I must say, I love that couch!! I've seen it in other pics and have meant to comment on it. You could place anyone on that couch and they would look comfy and at home..and that axe...perfect...:yess:

Thanks mate! Yeah, Subway Toys did great with the clothing including the jeans but the fit just was not quite right so I changed them out! Of course, teh axe is incredible but I have had the initial figure for some years and got bored of it holding it! Yeah, the settees look perfect!

You know, when I stumbled upon casting the Brando head sculpt I didn't really know how it would come out. I really was very pleasantly surprised at how much better a figure head looks when it's resin as opposed to hard plastic. It also gives you the opportunity to control the paint application which can make a big difference as well. After Marlon, I casted and painted Dino and he came out much better than the original. Now I'm almost finished with painting Duke. I still hope that iminime decides to do him, but honestly, I'm hard pressed to see how they can improve on this one...

Looks fantastic mate! Really does look like him! Great stuff and I totally agree with that! Painting a casted Head Sculpt is much better. I did grab some acetone so any painted heads that need re-painting, it just takes the original paint clean off! By the way Geronimo, was it you who had the Johnny Cash? Can't find the images of it any more! :)

Here are some pics of Duke with his sculpt in resin with completed paint...I think it came out more realistic than its plastic counterpart shown in pictures above - I will let you be the judge...

This first pic shows them side by side:

Thanks DA...you know, I can't decide myself...I really go back and forth so your eye for Duke really helps! Do you think this sculpt would work with a patch and longer burns for Rooster?

Re: Classic Actors & Tough Guys - Bogart, Cagney, Wayne, Eastwood, Dean & Others...

Hey DA....you should be even prouder you own that great Clint figure! Check it out below; this just came out...

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (AP) -- Clint Eastwood added another starring role at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am - life saver.

Eastwood attended a volunteer party on the eve of the PGA Tour event when he noticed tournament director Steve John choking on a piece of cheese. The 83-year-old actor quickly performed the Heimlich maneuver Wednesday night at the Monterey Conference Center.

"I was drinking water and eating these little appetizers, threw down a piece of cheese and it just didn't work," John said Friday. "I was looking at him and couldn't breathe. He recognized it immediately and saved my life."

Eastwood is a prominent figure at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, formerly as an amateur contestant and now as chairman of the Monterey Peninsula Foundation. It has raised over $100 million for charity as the host of the PGA Tour event.

He's often in the CBS tower on the weekend and presents the trophy to the winner, a list that includes Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Brandt Snedeker in recent years.

The Hollywood star wasn't expecting an additional duty this week.

"I looked in his eyes and saw that look of panic people have when they see their life passing before their eyes," Eastwood told The Carmel Pine Cone. "It looked bad."

He said it was the first time he had used the Heimlich maneuver.

"I can't believe I'm 202 pounds and he threw me up in the air three times," John said.

The party is one of the biggest nights of the week. Volunteers are entertained by the celebrities such as musician Kenny G and comedian Tom Dreesen.

The 50-year-old John said it was the second time in his life someone had to perform the Heimlich on him.

"It was in Colorado about seven or eight years ago. But it wasn't Clint Eastwood," he said. "I haven't talked to him since that night. It was crazy."

DA:
It is a small world...wow, and your wife knows him...goes to show, we don't ever know how long we will be around so let's make the best of it.

Joel: Hope all is well with you in jolly old England! Although DA is from a warmer climate here in the colonies, the rest of us are getting buried with snow! Can I send you some? :)
