Because a lot of pieces either go from 400 and then 440. Like Boba, Machiko, Thor.

I mean, I kind of get it. But are those statues worth every penny of $440? If they were $445 it would be crossing a line? It just seems strange that one wouldn't pay any amount over the maximum (in most cases) that SS charges for these statues. It seems to me that if their maximum increased, so would the limit of their fans, to coincide.

To me, it depends on my interest in the character, the quality of the statue, extra pieces, etc. I can't flat out say that I wouldn't pay X amount for a statue without taking all factors into account. Each statue would have to be judged on its own.

Its not really that deep

I have a Catwoman PF

Im probably not gonna pay a lot more for a new one especially since the last one was borderline pushing it ($ wise)

It is now, it's damn near 30 years ago :lol
Well it's relatively old now, but I don't know that that makes it "classic." That look didn't seem to last too long, for good reason! I hated it at the time, and it's just one among about a million bad comic design decisions from the '90s IMO. The genuinely classic version from the '50s onward (and brought back in the mid-80s for awhile) with the dress and cape would have been much more appealing. She wore that outfit for probably longer than any other suit. It was also used in the Brave and the Bold cartoon. You don't see anyone revisiting that eye sore from the early '90s in cartoons or newer comics.
