Classic Iron Man Comiquette - Image Thread

Wow. With every pic I get even more tempted to get the CIM comiquette. But I've got SIM already and I really love that piece!

Anyone else in the same boat?

Averone - could you do an Avengers assemble with SIM instead to convince me otherwise!!?!

On a side note, it might be your awesome pics screwing up my brains, but methinks grey hulk looks better than green in the Avengers display... the grey really comes out against that black background.

Darn it... too late. I took the gang down. I tell you its a work out trying to get them to pose!

Maybe in the summertime when I have more time!

Curious. Is the rod on the right hand stuck or can it be removed showing just the clenched fist?

The rod is sculpted into the fist. It cannot be removed....in theory it could be dremmeled and filled, repainted and not be all that noticable which I'm sure someone will do but for the unexperienced customizer like myself we are stuck.

does anyone have both iron man and iron spidey? just wanna know if iron man has a much bigger box. Great pics guys!!!

I have them both, the sizes are about the same. I'll shoot a pic of Iron Spidey and SIM together but it probably won't be until this weekend since I have late meetings today and tomorrow.

Sorry mate didn't mean to slag off the Green hulk at all!!! He looks awesome, and infact I've got the green, not the grey! I just meant to say how Averone's pic made they grey stand out so awesomely!

Anyway this thread's about CIM and he's the real star of the show!!

Sadly for me I may have to delay CIM... Hellboy 2 is coming soon, and so is Hot Toy's IM Mark II. It's either them or CIM, I don't have that much disposable income and since I've already got SIM I'm thinking to do the right thing...

But CIM is sooo pretty!

Are you for apologizing....you owe none my friend.....BOTH Green and Grey Hulks are awesome pieces and we can enjoy them both for what they truly are....awesome Hulks!

Heck....I'll be saving everyone's pictures of both the Green and the Grey in their Avengers Assemble Diorama pics.

SS really did this time Av. This is a home run when he's alone, it's out of this world when he's with the gang, especially next to Cap!

That being said, mine has minor scratches / blemishes on his right shoulder, right thigh and a very small round paint rub (or missing paint, hard to tell with the quick inspection) on the top flat part of the base and some scratches on the base.

Decision time:

A. Exchange for other
B. Keep with a $50.00 credit (probably what it will be)
C. Full Refund.

Well, C is out of the question because this is a must own for me (he truly is spectacular).

Actually No it shouldn't.

If you go by Avengers 4 which is the introduction Captain America to the team he is in modern uniform:

Even if you look at Avengers 3 which is the last issue with The Hulk as a member of the team he is Green:

He actually didn't start wearing the CIM look until around Iron Man 1 in 1968

Even as part of the Avengers lineup its incorrect because he should have the "horned" helmet. If you want to get particular that is.
